Birmingham, Alabama WWE Sunday Night Heat Opener: Todd Grisham and the Coach welcomed us to Heat as we go down to ringside for the opening match of the night. Snitsky vs. Val Venis The music of Gene Snitsky hit in the arena as he made his way down to the ring for singles action here on Heat against Val Venis. The start: Val and Snitsky locked up and Val took over with right hands and chops in the corner on Snitsky. Val hit an elbow in the corner and then Snitsky charged at him but Val moved and rolled up Snitsky for two. Snitsky came back with a power slam on Venis and then stomped him on the canvas. Snitsky sent Val to the corner and kicked away at him and then choked him with his boot. Snitsky hit a big side slam on Val for two. Venis came back with shots to the gut but Snitsky hit a big knee to the mid section. Snitsky went for a clothesline but Val ducked and then hit a cross body for two. The Finish: Venis with some mounted punches in the corner and then a clothesline to take Snitsky down. Venis continued to hammer away on Snitsky and then hit a leg drop for two. Venis is bleeding from the head a little as he goes to the middle rope and hit a flying clothesline for two. Snitsky went for the pumphandle but Val escaped and hit the urinagi suplex for a near fall. Snitsky hit a big boot the face and then hit an inverted DDT for the win. In the arena: The music of Chris Masters hit in the arena as he made his way out to the ring. Masters got on the mic and said that the Masterpiece is not just an image, he has a better body than a young Schwarzenegger. He said he is more desirable than Brad Pitt and more athletic than Lebron James. He said he thinks like Einstein and is the complete package. He said no one has ever escaped the Master Lock, and tonight will be no different. He said when you step in the ring with him, you are no match for the Masterpiece. The music of Russell Simpson then hit as he came down for the match. Chris Masters vs. Russell Simpson The Match: Masters and Simpson locked up and Masters wrenched on the arm and then dragged him to the apron and kicked him in the head. Masters hit a catapult sending Simpson's neck into the ropes. Simpson fought back with kicks and punches but Masters hot shotted him on the ropes. Masters scored with the Polish Hammer and then locked in the Master Lock for the easy win. The Hurricane vs. Biohazard The music of the Hurricane hit in the arena as he made his way out for singles action against Biohazard. The start: The Hurricane and Biohazard locked it up and Hurricane grabbed a side headlock. Biohazard sent him to the ropes but Hurricane came back with a hip toss and a pair of arm drags. Hurricane hit a drop toe hold and locked in a front face lock but Biohazard backed him to the ropes. Hurricane reversed and hit some mounted punches but Biohazard sent him heard first into the turnbuckle. Biohazard took control and scored with a modified neck breaker for one. The Finish: Biohazard locked in a chin lock but Hurricane fought out with a top wrist lock into a neck breaker and then a flying forearm. Hurricane sent Biohazard head first to the corner and then hit a neck breaker from the middle rope. Hurricane hit a big clothesline and then went up top with a cross body for the win. Muhammad Hassan vs. Rhyno The music of Muhammad Hassan hit in the arena as he made his way to the ring with Daivari for singles action on Heat against Rhyno. The start: Rhyno and Hassan locked up as the fans chanted USA. Rhyno backed Hassan to the corner and gave a clean break. They locked up again and Hassan grabbed a side headlock but Rhyno fought out of it and locked in one of his own. Rhyno hit a shoulder block and went for a clothesline but Hassan ducked and the two had a stand off. Hassan kicked Rhyno in the gut but Rhyno came back with right hands. Hassan scored with a neck breaker for two. Hassan pulled on the hair of Rhyno and then dragged Rhyno to the apron and hit a series of elbows to the back of the head. The Finish: Back inside, and Hassan hit some elbow drops for two before locking in a rear naked choke. Rhyno fought out and hit a flying clothesline. Hassan hit some right hands to no effect as Rhyno unloaded on Hassan. Rhyno hit a fall-away slam and then charged Hassan in the corner. Rhyno hit a belly to belly and then signalled for the Gore. Daivari got on the apron and Rhyno went for him and then took over on Hassan with rights. Rhyno missed a charge in the corner and Hassan hit an STO before locking in the Camel Clutch for the win.
