    WWE Road to Wrestlemania
    Raw Roster
    February 27, 2005
    Boston, MA
    Agganis Arena

This was the WWE's debut show in the new Agganis Arena
on the campus of Boston University. Normally they're
at the FleetCenter, but I guess they just wanna look
at other options when coming to Boston.

    WWE Intercontinental Championship Match
Shelton Benjamin(c) vs. Christian w/Tyson Tomko

Tomko gets sent to the back early in the match.
Christian throws a couple temper tantrums in the ring.
In the closing moments, Benjamin hits Christian with
the Dragon Whip, but only got a 2 count. Benjamin
goes for the T-Bone suplex, but Christian got out of
it and positioned him for the Unprettier. Benjamin
pushed Christian into the ropes and caught him with
the T-Bone suplex for the pinfall to retain the IC
    title.

Winner and still Intercontinental champion: Shelton
    Benjamin

Pretty good match by Raw standards.

Val Venis vs. "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters

Not much of a match here. Masters actually took a few
bumps unlike this past Monday night. Venis dished out
some nice offense. The end saw Masters locking in the
full nelson for the submission victory.

    Winner: "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters

The Fink introduced Jonathan Coachman. Coach comes
out talking about how he was considering not coming to
Boston at all. He talked about how there were many
legends in Boston leading him to introduce Hall Of
Famer "Superstar" Billy Graham. Billy Graham came out
and circled the ring. Coach told him to get in the
ring and then he would go to the outside instead.
Graham said it was great to be honored here in Boston.
He said he was honored on Friday night in New York
City to a chorus of boos, but said New York fans suck
and Boston fans were better. Coach then talked about
how Graham's health hasn't been all that great in the
last couple of years and said that his induction into
the Hall Of Fame last year could have been a sympathy
vote. He went on to say that upon doing research, he
came to the conclusion that Graham is a joke and
ordered him to leave. Graham took the mic and said
that he would go to the back to sit on the commode,
but would need someone to wipe his ass. He proceeded
to knock out the Coach with the mic to a loud pop. He
then said Coach was probably gonna need a stretcher.

    World Tag Team Championship Match
William Regal and Tajiri(c) vs. La Resistance

Decent match. La Resistance entered first demanding
the crowd stand up for the Canadian national anthem.
Grenier started to sing when Tajiri and Regal entered
the ring. Didn't really get that many stiff kicks out
of Tajiri. Tajiri played the face in peril until
getting the hot tag to Regal who unloaded on both
members of La Resistance. The end saw Regal hitting
Grenier with a knee lift and getting the pinfall to
    retain the tag titles.

Winners and still World Tag Team champions: William
    Regal and Tajiri

    Rhyno vs. Tyson Tomko

This match wasn't as bad as many people would expect.
Lots of brawling in this match. The closing moments
had Rhyno ducking Tomko's big boot followed up by The
Gore. Rhyno gets the cover and the victory.

    Winner: Rhyno

    WWE Women's Championship Match
Trish Stratus(c) vs. Molly Holly vs. Victoria

Same type of match as this past week on Raw. Victoria
actually hit her jiggle standing moonsault on both
Trish and Molly at the same time. Trish and Molly
were working together at first. Trish puts Victoria
in a half crab while Molly grabs the other leg for a
half crab. Trish then turns on Molly and the two
start battling. Trish attempted the Stratusfaction on
Molly who turned it into a side suplex. Victoria
makes a comeback on both. The closing moments had
Trish attempting a Stratusphere, but was pushed off.
Victoria hits Molly with the Widow's Peak. Trish
recovers and rolls up Victoria holding the tights to
    retain the Women's championship.

Winner and still WWE Women's Champion: Trish Stratus

Trish decides to get back in the ring to dish out more
punishment. Christy Hemme runs down to ring side.
Trish runs the ropes and is tripped by Christy.
Victoria delivers the Widow's Peak to Trish. Christy
starts walking to the back when Gene Snitsky's music
starts up. Snitsky walks down the aisle chasing
Christy to ringside. Kane runs out to attack Snitsky
    starting up our next match.

    Hardcore Match
    Kane vs. Gene Snitsky

Horrible match. Not really that hardcore either.
Trash cans, trash can lids, the ring bell, and a
hockey stick were used. One spot had Snitsky's upper
half laying outside on the ring apron. Kane put a
trash can on him and then smashed it with the ring
bell. Back in the ring, Kane hits Snitsky with the
flying clothesline. Snitsky grabs a trash can lid
while Kane grabs him by the throat for the chokeslam.
Snitsky smashes Kane with the lid until he goes down.
Kane sits up. Snitsky smashes him again on the head.
Kane sits up again. Snitsky smashes him again. A few
moments later, Kane regains the momentum and goes
outside for a trash can. He puts it down and
chokeslams Snitsky onto it. Kane makes the cover and
    gets the victory.

    Winner: Kane

Chris Benoit vs. Muhammed Hassan w/Khasrow Daivari

Ok match here. Hassan and Daivari enter first running
down the crowd to great heat. The closing moments had
Daivari being knocked off the ring apron. Benoit
locks the Sharpshooter on Hassan who makes it to the
ropes. Benoit then locks in the Crippler Crossface
prompting Daivari to get in the ring to interfere
    causing a disqualification.

    Winner by disqualification: Chris Benoit

Hassan rolls to the outside while Daivari continues to
beat on Benoit. Benoit then gets Daivari in the
Crippler Crossface who taps out frantically.

    Shawn Michaels vs. Edge

Perfectly acceptable for a Raw main event match.
Michaels misses the super kick allowing Edge to hit
the Edge-O-Matic. Edge mocks Michaels' tuning the
band. Edge charges Michaels for the spear, but gets a
super kick. Michaels covers for the three count and
    the victory.

    Winner: Shawn Michaels

The referees and ring crew starting bringing out the
pieces of the cage. The Fink says they're going to
give away 10 boxes of Snicker's Cruncher. Following
the announcement of the winning seats, we go to brief
intermission while the cage is set up.

There was no upper part of the cage that looks like a
cat walk. The Fink said that the only way to win was
    by pinfall or submission.

    Tag Team Cage Match
Batista and Randy Orton vs. Triple H and Ric Flair

This amtch was pretty decent when it came down to one
on one. Triple H and Flair made their entrances
first. Orton entered and started the match right away
with Flair and Triple H. Batista finally made his
entrance to a massive pop. This match was texas
tornado rules so everyone was in. There were a few
funny spots between Flair and Batista. Flair actually
bladed during this match and I have to give him credit
for blading at a house show. There was also the
traditional spot where Flair tries to climb out of the
cage and his tights get pulled so we got Flair's ass
for about minutes. The battle spilled to the outside
of the cage with all four combatants. Flair and Orton
were going at it on one side with Triple H and Batista
on the other. Triple H got the advantage on Batista
while Orton beat down Flair. Triple H grabbed a chair
and cracked Orton over the head with the chair. Flair
was helped to the back by officials followed by Orton.
Now the match is just one on one between Batista and
Triple H. The two had a great exchange back inside
the cage. The crowd was quite hot during this battle.
Triple H even bladed during this match after being
thrown face first into the cage. The end saw Batista
hitting his spinebuster followed up by the Batista
Bomb to score the victory over Triple H.

    Winners: Randy Orton and Batista

Two referees had to help Triple H up. He shoved them
aside when he got up. He did his pose with the World
Heavyweight title and fell back down. The referees
had to help a rubber legged Triple H out of the cage.
He even fell onto one of the refs when he was going
through the cage door. After the refs helped him to
the back, The Fink thanked everyone for coming and
said they hope to be back in the near future.

Crowd was hot for most of the afternoon, but died down
during the Kane/Snitsky match. Crowd was also pretty
    quiet for the Michaels/Edge match.
