WWE News: Tommy Dreamer in contract with former ECW superstars for upcoming PPV

• It appears that Tommy Dreamer is in charge of contacting former ECW superstars to see if they would be willing to take part in the WWE's upcoming "ECW: One Night Stand" PPV at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on June 12th, 2005. Dreamer, who has resumed his old mangement role that he had in ECW with Paul Heyman, has talked to several people, including former ECW Champion The Sandman. No word yet on if any of them have express interest, but there are some reports that say the WWE is trying to get these former ECW performers for their PPV in an effort to prevent them from working on the ECW reunion show that former WWE/WCW/ECW Superstar "The Franchise" Shane Douglas is organizing for the Friday before the PPV on June 10th at the famous ECW Arena.
