QUICK RESULTS FROM CWF MID-ATLANTIC'S TV TAPING HELD ON JANUARY 22ND
IN BURLINGTON, NC
The following results are from the CWF Mid-Atlantic TV Taping held
Saturday, February 19th, at the Carolina Sports Arena in
Burlington, NC. All bouts are sanctioned by the AWA, the American
Wrestling Association:
1. Ultra Dragon pinned Xsiris (8:09)
2. Drake Tungsten, Tank Lawson & Mitch Conner vs. Brass Munkey,
Chris Collins & Matty Dee was ruled a NO CONTEST after outside
interference by "Dangerous E" Corey Edsel (4:03)
3. AWA Mid-Atlantic Television Champion Jesse Ortega submitted
Scotty Blaze to retain the title (9:54)
4. AWA Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion "Slick Diddy" Ric Converse
pinned Otto Schwanz to retain the title (13:48)
5. Garry "Madd Trucker" Stevens pinned "Rock N Roll" Matty Dee (3:13)
6. RGL Champion Kid Justice pinned Gregory Vercetti to retain the
title (9:35)
7. Rob "Boogie Woogie Man" McBride pinned Mikael Yamaha (w/Brad
Stutts) (14:38)
8. The $outh$ide Playas (J-Money & Will B. Smooth w/Kiyia Moka)
defeated Donnie Dollars & Jay Sinn w/Alex Adonis to become the new
#1 Contenders to the AWA Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Titles (14:17)

** Assistant Commissioner Michael McAllister was given a new role as
a special liason with the AWA and would now be in charge of the
sanctioning of all title bouts. During the presentation of his new
position, he was interrupted by 1/2 of the new AWA Mid-Atlantic Tag
Team Champions, Sean Powers. Sean Powers explained that Twisted
Aggression will defend their tag titles in the "traditional" manner
as the Fabulous Freebirds and Russians, with any two members
defending the belts on any given night. McAllister then informed
Powers if that was the case, that Twisted Aggression would defend
the titles on March 12th against a mystery tag team.
** "Dangerous E" Corey Edsel ran in on a six-man match and attacked
Brass Munkey with a hangman's noose. GeeStar ran in and threw
herself between Edsel and Munkey. The former friends are certain to
square off in the ring after this vicious assault!
** "Slick Diddy" Ric Converse turned back the challenge of former
heavyweight champion, Otto Schwanz, in a specially requested AWA Mid-
Atlantic Heavyweight Title match. The victory over the extremely
powerful former champ has only solidified Converse's claim that he
is the greatest Mid-Atlantic Champion of all time.
CWF Mid-Atlantic returns to action this FRIDAY NIGHT, March 25th at
Greensboro NC's AC Fitness on W. Market Street! The schedules main
event is a special return title bout! "Slick Diddy" Ric Converse
defends his AWA Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Title against Brad
Attitude! Plus Orlo Helmer & Kid Justice face "Team Adonis" and
many more of your favorites!
