WWE SMACKDOWN HOUSE SHOW 2-12-05 FROM THE JACK BRESLIN CENTER IN EAST LANSING MICHIGAN. MS SMACKDOWN HOT BODY CONTEST : TORRIE WILSON VS MS JACKIE VS MICHELLE MCCOOL Almost no reaction for Michelle Mcool. Torrie didnt even get to disrobe, when the match was interrupted by Heidenreich. Booker T came out to make the save which turned into Booker T vs Heidenreich BOOKER T VS HEIDENREICH Not a great match, a bit sloppy and stiff. Good big boot from Heidenreich near the end though. It looked for sure like they were going for a Booker T win but Heidereich won with a move that was so anticlimatic, i cant remember what it was. WINNER: HEIDENREICH REY MYSTERIO VS KENZO SUZUKI WITH HIROKO Average match. Nothing spectacular from Kenzo. Big pops for Rey on most spots. WINNER: REY MYSTERIO WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP : THE BASHAM BROTHERS VS HARDCORE HOLLY AND CHARLIE HAAS Pretty regular bout. Not too much of a reaction for the face team, not surprising considering they are rarely used on tv. The Bashams did their predicted switch near the end of the match while the ref wasnt looking. Decent heat for the bashams. WINNER: THE BASHAMS WWE CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP : FUNAKI VS CHAVO GUERRERO VS SCOTTY 2 HOTTY VS SPIKE DUDLEY Match starts with Spike refusing to get in the ring and sitting at ringside, trying to attack the faces when they werent looking. Spike was eliminated first with Scottys worm i think. Then Scotty was eliminated by Chavo, and finally Chavo was eliminated by Funaki. Chavo played both face and heel in this match. WINNER : FUNAKI ORLANDO JORDAN VS NUNZIO Boring piss break match. Not too much of a crowd reaction for either. Some heat for Orlando during his entrance. People didnt care enough to chear for Nunzio. WINNER : ORLANDO JORDAN UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP : JOHN CENA VS RENE DUPREE More of a brawl than an actual match. Dupree paused just after the start to remind people he was from france. Match lasted a little longer than i expected. Big Pops for Cena. He wins with the F-U. WINNER : JOHN CENA Theodore Long then comes out to remind us Kurt Angle wont be there, and says we will still see a cage match. It will be Luther Reigns and Mark Jindrak vs The Big Show. Holla Holla Holla. Intermission to put up the cage. STEEL CAGE MATCH : LUTHER REIGNS AND MARK JINDRAK VS THE BIG SHOW Very slow match. The cage looked as if it could fall apart at any second. Spots were weak when they would use the cage. At a few points the big show would unconvincingly try to climb the cage. only cool thing was a reversed double suplex on reigns and jindrak from the big show. on one attempt at escaping, orlando jordan ran in and pushed the big show down to the mat. Decent Heat for that. after a chokeslam big show pinned either reigns or jindrak, cant remember. WINNER : THE BIG SHOW After the match the bashams and orlando jordan joined reigns and jindrak on a beat down of the big show. John Cena and Rey Mysterio made the save. Cena talked to the crowd then said they were gonna see something special. The Big Show was gonna do a rap. Big Show acted embarrassed to do it. His rap said something about him being the big show then come sunday at no way out "bradshaw is the white girl, and im kobe bryant". Then Cena did his own rap and that was it. BIGGEST POPS John Cena/Big Show Rey mysterio Booker T MOST HEAT (in no particular order) Kenzo Suzuki Rene Dupree Basham Brothers Heidenreich Reigns/Jindrak Wow. what can i say. i had fun going to see it. but i have to admit, it was a horrible attempt at a house show. 4 of the most popular guys werent even there. this is not how you get people interested in your product. showcasing people that are rarely on tv, and not even showing the most popular ones that are. The champion wasnt even there. Dont get me wrong, i enjoy going to see any wwe show, but this wasnt one of their best outtings. arena was about half full, with seats filled in random sections throughout. if everyone was brought down it would have been half the arena. probably less. actually, no doubt it would have been less. there were 3,000 people there, tops. and thats being generous.
WOW! WWE's Maryse Has an ACCIDENT on RAW!
