Nidia speaks on her WWE release, her upcoming wrestling dates, and more

  Nidia was interviewed recently by PRWRESTLING.COM's Francisco "McGyver" Gaztambide about her release and other topics.
  
  Some notes from the interview:
  
  - She says that the release caught her by surprise but was seeing that the women's division was fading away. "They where definitely going in another direction, so I kind of knew it was coming, but not that soon".
  
  - Nidia revealed that she was already thinking of retiring from the WWE: "The travel, the bumps, living thru all that for these last 3 years was too much for me. I was already thinking about doing something else, I wanted to be at home with my family and my dogs and go to college".
  
  - She didn't like the move from Smackdown to Raw. "Smackdown was my family and as soon as I arrived to Raw my character had no direction, that made me lost interest in the business".
  
  - She hated wrestling before entering Tough Enough, “I even had nightmares about wrestlers!” Nidia then said that watching The Rock in MTV was what made her take interest in the business.
  
  - Her favorite match in the WWE was when blind Nidia wrestled Jamie Noble in Smackdown.
  
  - Nidia will be wrestling in IWA Puerto Rico January the 6th in her first match since being let go from the WWE. She will be facing Puerto Rico's top woman wrestler, La Tigresa, to witch Nidia commented: "I've never heard of her, I am even kind of rusty, have to do my research!"
