Hey guys an gals, it's your pal BSB here with the TNA Impact report for 12-24-04. Hope everyone is having a happy holiday season. I apologize for the lack of match detail, but Christmas is robbing me of a lot of my time. But lets get to it!

We open with Dusty Rhodes and Traci in the ring. Dusty starts to tell us about who will challenge for the NWA World title at Final Resolution, but he is interrupted by Jeff Jarret, with Hall and Nash. JJ demands to know who is the challenger. Dusty tell us that Monty Brown, DDP, and Nash will face each other in a Triple Threat Elimination match at FR, with the winner facing JJ for the title later in the night.

We come back from commercial, and Cassidy O'Reilly and Brandon Thomas are about to face Ron "The Truth" Killings and BG James of the 3 Live Kru. BG and Konnan do their standard pre match schtick, and the match begins. Good match, with BG playing the face in peril, until he gets the hot tag to The Truth. Truth wins with a sit down pedigree at 3:11.

Erik Watts confront DDP backstage, and they talk trash. After DDP leaves, Raven comes out to feed Watts anger at DDP.

Commercial. There is a special holiday dvd package at tnawrestling.com. Get the best of AJ Styles and AMW for one low price. I have both of these dvds, and they are awesome. I highly recommend all of TNAs dvds. I may do some bonus reviews soon with my Impact recaps.

We are back, and Abyss is out to face David Young. Abyss wins in :45 with the Black Hole Slam.

    Commercial.

We are back, adn they play some clips of Hector Garza. Roddy Piper then comes out to the ring, where he ahs a mariachi band waiting. He brings out Hector, with Moody Jack to translate. Piper asks Hector what his goals are for 2005, and Hector tells us he wants the NWA World title, and to beat JJ. He says he would have beat JJ last week is it were not for Hall and Nash. And speak of the devil, here they come. Hall talks trash to Hector, then gives him a guitar and tell him to play a "hit". Hector bashes Hall, then fights off Nash before giving Hall the El Kabong. Hector and Roddy celebrate as we got to commercial.

We are back, and Shane Douglas is interviewing Coach D'Amore and Petey Williams of Team Canada. He mentions that Petey will have to defend the title at FR in an Ultimate X match, but Petey is not afraid. Shane also tell us that Bobby Roode and Eric Young wil face AMW later, and if AMW wins, they get a shot at the Tag Titles at FR. Coach D'Amore is not happy about all of this, and accuses Dusty Rhodes of being out to get them.

We go to the ring, where Johnny Devine is coming out. In his first match back after the stabbing incident, he i out to face AJ Styles. Too bad, it would have been nice for him to win in his first match back. Very good match, and AJ winsin 5:50 with the Styles Clash.

Back from commercial and Kid Kash runs into Dustin Rhodes backstage. He seems to like Dustin, but talks some trash about Dusty. When Kash leaves Dustin quotes Tombstone and does a Goldust style facial movement.

Back to the ring, and its time for the main event. Team Canadas Tag Team champs Bobby Roode and Eric Young vs AMW. If AMW wins, they get a title sho at FR. Very good tag match, and The Cowboy James Storm pins Eric Young with a roll up in 8:41.

We got to outside where JJ is yelling to Nash and Hall about his title. He walks off, and Hall reminds Nash that Nash has held the WWE title and the WCW title, but never the NWA title. Nash seems intrigued. They hear a loud crash, and they camera pans over to Abyss, standing over someone under a table. Hopefully they will tell us who and why next week, because that is all for this week.

Next weeks Impact will be moved from Dec 31 to Jan 4 in most markets. Check you local listings.

    Have a good one!
