Its me, its me, its BSB, and heres the TNA Impact report for 12-17-04.

We start the show with a Jarrett and Dustys promo from last week, regarding Final Resolution and Jarretts NWA Heavyweight Title defense for tha PPV. Credits, pyro, and here we go.

Johhny B. Badd and Sonny Siaki are out first, followed by former NWA Tag Team Champions, The Naturals. JBB and Chase Stevens start out. Once Sonny Siaki is in The Naturals isolate and double team him, working him over inside and out the ring. Siaki goes for a Springboard Double Clotheline and misses, but manages to roll through and tag JBB, who cleans house. JBB gets Chase Stevens on the top turnbuckle and goes for a Hurricarana, but Andy Douglas grabs Stevens and holds him up causing JBB to land right on his head. Then Stevens pins JBB, with the help of the ropes and Douglas.

We are back from commericial and in the Universal Studios parking garage. We see Dusty in his office, which is the back of his pickup truck. Rhodes is still waiting for the call about Jarretts Final Resolution title defense. Traci pops up, and wants to be Dustys seceratary. Dusty welcomes her into his office, where she falls in his lap, the bends over to answer the phone. Dusty says this is gonna work out fine.

We are back, and Bobby Roode is in the ring, to face Jeff Hardy. Roode pushes Hardy a few times to start, and Hardy hits his standard moves. Hardy goes for the Whisper in the Wind, but Roode pushes him out of the ring, where D'Amore takes a few cheap shots at Hardy. Hardy is tossed back in the ring, where Roode works on Hardys neck. Hardy hits his Jawbreaker, but Roode hits Hardy with a huge Spinebuster for a near fall. Roode goes for a powerbomb, Hardy counters and goes for the Twist of Fate. Roode counters, Hardy tries again, Roode counters again. Harddy then hits the Whisper in the Wind for a near fall. Roode goes for a suplex, Hardy reverses and hits the Twist of Fate. Hardy goes for the Swanton, but D'Amore distracts him and Roode gets up. Roode attempts a superplex, but Hardy shoves him off and hits the Swanton for the win.

Commercial. Buy the AJ Styles DVD and Americas Most Wanted DVD package at TNAwrestling.com. Its a good deal, I just got mine and they are awesome. Lots of great stuff.

Were back and here comes Johnny Swinger. And his opponent if Dustin Rhodes. I guess it was only a matter of time now that Dusty is booking. Swinger attacks early, taking control with punches, and then spits in Dustins face. Dustin hits a spear, then punches Swinger, whips him, and hits a nice dropkick followed by an arm drag. Dustin throws Swinger in the corner, where he does a mounted 9 punch, followed by an elbow. He whips Swinger and hits a lariat, then hips Swinger again, and misses a Crossbody Block. Dustin rolls out of the ring. Swinger follows, and drops Dustin throat first on the barricade. He throws Dustin back in the ring, and slingshots Dustin throat first into the bottom rope. Swinger chokes, punches, the locks the sleeeper in on Dustin. Dustin fights out, and gets a Backslide for a near fall. Swinger hits a clothesline for a near fall. The men trade punches, and clothelines. Swinger gets a Russian Leg Sweep for a near fall, then goes for a slam, but Dustin hits the Curtain Call for the win.

We are back from commercial and Shane Douglas is interviewing Dustin. Dustin tells us he is here for the NWA World Heavyweight Title, and Jarrett had better watch out.

Clips of the DDP/Raven/Erik Watts saga are shown, both from the match at Turning Point, and last weeks Impact.

Scott Matthews is on his way out, and here comes his opponent Erik Watts. Before Watts makes it tot he ring, DDP slips in and takes out Matthews with The Diamond Cutter. DDp challenges Watts to get in the ring, but Watts backs away and leaves.

Back from commercial and its time for the main event. Clips of last weeks Styles/garza match are shown, and Moody Jack is back at commentary again. But unfortunatly Don West is still there. Here comes Garza, and then Jarrett. They lockup, and Jarrett gets a headlock on Garza. JJ hits an armdrag, and taunts the crowd. Another lockup, and Jarrett gets behind Garza, and another headlock. Garza whips Jarrett into the rope, leapfrogs him, but Jarrett recovers and slams Garza. Another lockup, another headlock by JJ, Garza whips JJ off, hits a shoulderblock, then an arm drag. Garza goes for another, but JJ is too smart, and Garza misses. JJ hits a drop toehold, the slaps Garza on the back of the head a few times. Garza is up, and JJ slaps him, then again. Garza slaps JJ, punches him, then whips him and hits a dropkick. Garza then whips JJ again, leapfrogs him, then hits a drop toehold on JJ and slaps him a few times on the back of the head. Garza then clothelines JJ out of the ring, and runs for a Suicide Dive. JJ gets out of th way, but Garza manages to stop in time. JJ turns to the crowd to brag, so Garza hits him with a Slinshot Crossbody Block as we go to commercial.

We are back and JJ is control. He hangs Garza in the Tree of Woe, and hits him with a running body block. JJ the goes out the ring to choke Garza. Garza is down, JJ picks him up and whips him. Garza attempts a Tornado DDT, but it is countered by JJ into a sleeper. Garza fights out, JJ whips him, but Garza hits a flying clothesline, then a scoop slam. Garza whips JJ, but is reversed. Garza still hits JJ with a flying cross chop. JJ whips Garza to the turnbuckle, but Garza climbs up top. JJ comes at him, but is met with a slap, then a Tornado DDT for a near fall. Bothe men are up. Garza whips JJ into the corner, and goes for a body block, but JJ ducks out the ring and Garza bumps the ref. JJ come sin with the guitar, but the ref has recovered and prvents JJ from hitting Garza. Garza goes for a roll up, but JJ kicks out. Hall and Nash are now on their way out, Garza slamss JJ, but Hall is in the ring. Garza takes down Hall, but Nash punches and whips Garza. Garza takes them both out with a Double Dropkick, and tells the ref not to call for the DQ. Garza powerbombs JJ, and goes to the top. Nash distracts the ref while Hall slips JJ the guitar, and JJ kabongs Garza mid moonsault and gets the pin.
