Just two days after being conspicuously absent from WWE Armageddon, Paul Heyman is not present at tonight's SmackDown! taping, reports PWInsider.com.
The original understanding was that Heyman would continue his on-air role and attendance of the SmackDown! shows but would simply not have a role on the creative team.
It's possible that there is more to report regarding Heyman's status within WWE.
