Charlotte, North Carolina WWE Sunday Night Heat Opener: The Coach and Marc Loyd welcomed us to this week's edition of Sunday Night Heat. We then go down to ringside and Howard Finkel for the opening match of the night. Tajiri vs. Robert Conway The music of La Resistance hit in the arena as Robert Conway made his way down to the ring and he is set for singles action here on Sunday Night Heat against Tajiri. The start: Tajiri and Robert Conway locked up and Conway wrenched on the arm of Tajiri. Tajiri reversed and scored with an arm drag and then locked in an arm bar. Tajiri then went into a hammerlock but Conway escaped. Tajiri came back with kicks to the body of Conway. Tajiri hit a monkey flip out of the corner and then locked in the Tarantula on the former World Tag Team Champion. The finish: Tajiri went for a Tornado DDT, but Conway maneuvered him into the ropes, and then Rolled the Dice for the impressive victory over Tajiri. Gene Snitsky vs. Caprice Coleman The music of Gene Snitsky hit in the arena as he made his way to the ring and he is set for action against Caprice Coleman. The start: Gene Snitsky told Caprice to leave before the match, but Caprice stood up to Snitsky. They locked up and Coleman grabbed a side headlock, but Snitsky threw him off. Snitsky hit a shoulder block and then scored with a couple of elbow drops on Coleman. Snitsky hit a big splash in the corner on Coleman and knocked him down with a huge boot to the head. The finish: Snitsky picked up Coleman in a military slam position, and then dropped him down to his shoulder and scored with a huge powerslam to pick up the easy victory. Val Venis vs. Steven Richards The music of Val Venis hit in the arena and he made his way down for singles action against Steven Richards. The start: Val Venis and Steven Richards got nose to nose and then locked it up. Richards got Venis in the corner and gave a clean break. They locked up again and Venis got a side headlock. Richards shoved him off, but Venis came back with a shoulder block. Richards charged at Venis, but Venis hit an arm drag and then locked in an arm bar. Venis then got Stevie in a hammerlock on the mat and drove his knee into the back of Stevie Night Heat. The finish: Val Venis scored with a spinebuster and then headed up top and came off with the Money Shot to pick up the very hard fought win over Steven Richards. Sylvan Grenier vs. Rhyno The music of La Resistance filled the arena for the second time tonight, as Sylvan Grenier made his way to the ring for the main event of Heat. Sylvan got on the microphone and sang the Canadian National Anthem until he was interrupted by the music of Rhyno! The start: Rhyno stormed to the ring and Sylvan attacked him with stomps as he entered. Rhyno fought back with right hands and sent Sylvan tot he ropes. Sylvan went for a hip toss, but Rhyno blocked and hit one of his own and then scored with a series of arm drags before dropping Sylvan with a military press, and then sent Sylvan to the outside. Rhyno celebrated on the ropes, but Sylvan came in from behind and attacked the Man Beast. The finish: Rhyno went for the Gore, but Grenier leapfrogged him. Grenier then gloated, but Rhyno charged at Sylvan yet again, and this time connected with the Gore for the win. WWE Heat - Quick Match Results - Robert Conway def. Tajiri - Gene Snitsky def.
