WWE Smackdown-Brand House Show results from Syracuse NY 11/21/04

  • Frank Ragonese sent in the following:

    Chavo Guerrero Pinned Billy Kidman with a Gory Bomb. After the match Jesus did a run in and beat up Chavo. Looks like he'll be taking Carlitos Spot for a while.

    Orlando Jordan Pinned Nunzio in a good match.Nunzio looked good as usual and Orlando definitely has the look they want and his skills are improving.

    Heidenreich pinned Paul London after pretty much killing him with all of his power moves. Heidenreich left the ring after the match and then came back to attack London after a few Taker chants were brought in.

    Miss Jackie defeated Dawn Marie in a half way decent match via Pinfall. Both are really too hot for words to describe.

    JBL defeated Eddie Guerrero and Booker T. in a 3 Way No-DQ match for the WWE Championship. Run in from Orlando Jordan. Ref knocked out a couple of times and JBL gets the win.

    JBL's character is porogressing nicely. He actually is entertaining live, when given time on the mike.

    Intermission

    Spike Dudley defeated Funaki in a Cruiserweiight Title Match

    Renee Dupree and Kenzo Suzuki defeated Charlie Haas and Hardcore Holly in a Hardcore match for the Tag Titles.
    Hiroko did accompany Kenzo to ringside, so it looks like the rumours of her demise were premature.

    Big Show, RVD and Rey Misterio defeted Kurt Angle , Luther Reigns and Mark Jindrak following a 619 - 5 Star frog splash combo. Good match all around. Too bad tag team wrestling isnt as big as it should be because RVD and Rey could be one of the best ever. Their tag team moves and chemistry remind me of old school tag teams with a new school identity.

    1. Kurt Angle by far. You suck chants seemed like it came from 20,000 instead of 2,000 people.

    2. Kidman - Maybe because he was first heel out but the crowd really seemed to hate him.

    Hey My name is Jason and i just got back from the SMACK DOWN HOLLA HOLLA HOLLA Show at the Onondaga War Memorial.

    First off RVD posed for pix before show started. Once inside Tony Chimmel welcomed us to the show show and gave us the usual run down of what can and can not be done.
    Then it was off to the matches.

    Match 1 Bill Kidman .vs. Choavo Guerraro it was a good back and forth match. With Choavo winning by pin fall. After the match Jesus jumped over railing and attacked Choavo before leaving. Kidman then attacked Chaovo and left.

    Match 2 Orlando Jordan .vs. Nunzio Jordan beat Nunzio by pin fall

    Then Teddy Long came out and thanked us for coming then says" He has made a 6 man tag match for later. Featuring Team Angle .vs. Ray Mysterio , RVD and Big SHow. Then he got the crowd involved by allowing us to pick the stipulation for the TAG TITLE MATCH. WE CHOSE A HARDCORE MATCH".

    Match 3 THE SMACK DOWN DIVAS MATCH Miss Jackie .vs.Dawn Marie. Pretty basic match with Miss Jackie winning by pin fall.

    Match 4 The Blonde Buffoon (Heidenreich) with his straight jacket .vs. Paul London your basic squash match with the Blonde Buffoon winning. Through out the match everyone was chanting "TAKER" which pissed off THE BUFFOON. He chased people around with a hammer. He then took his anger out on the ring with the hammer. FInally The BUFFON left THANK GOD.

    Match 5 Teddy Long comes out and makes Bradshaw put his title on the line against Booker T and Eddie Guerraro in a no DQ triple threat match.It was a great match for all three.JBL got a beat down until Orlando came to his rescuse. Both Booker and Eddie were a 1/2 count from the title when Orlando would pull ref out of the ring. The end of match came when JBL hit Booker T with the Title Belt to win. After the match Booker and Eddie knocked JBL out of the ring then proceded to do a SPIN A ROONY and a dance around the ring.

    Then came a 15 minute intermission where they threw shirts to the crowd.

    Match 6 was THE HARDCORE MATCH FOR THE WWE TAG CHAMPIONSHIP. Kenzo and Renee took on Hardcore Holly and Charlie Haas. Haas got a beat down the whole match by both Kenzo and Renee before tagging in Holly. It went back and forth until Kenzo pinned Haas.

    Match 7 CRUISER WEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP "THE BOSS" which Spike Dudley calls himself now .vs. SMACKDOWNS # 1 ANNOUNCER FUNAKI. Awesome match between the two with Funaki putting a beat down on Spike.The end came with Spike hit the DUDLEY DOG on Funaki to win the match.

    Match 8 MAIN EVENT Team Angle .vs. RVD,REY MYSTERIO and THE BIG SHOW. Awesome match with every body beat down everyone. Encluding Big Show giving Gindrak and Reigns a double choke slam. Mysrerio hit the 619. RVD hit the 5 star frog splash on Gindrak to pick up the win. Afterwards RVD came over to let me take the second pic of him and hi fived me.

    OTHER NOTES: THE BIG SHOW, BOOKER T, RVD and DAWN MARIE were meeting and greeting fans. As well as taking pix and signing autographs before the show started. After the matches ended BIG SHOW was seen talking to fans. Before JBL came out for his match he got on the mic and got a lot of heel heat by picking on our home town college football and basket ball teams THE ORANGE. Attendence was low i would say between 800-1500 people. There were many empty seats through out the building. Over all it was a really good show much better then the show i read about in Washington, DC.
