I just got back from the WWE house show in Evansville
Indiana. Here is a rundown of the event. The Stadium
was pitifully empty, the section I was in can hold at
least 1000 to 1500 people and there may have been 50
people total in it. The crowd was pretty energetic for
the amount of people who were there.

The first match of the night was Rodney Mack going
against Maven. The crowd seriously hated Mack; he was
booed from beginning to end. Maven was well received
though. This was a typical Maven match nothing real
special. Maven picks up the win after a flying body
    press.

Simon Dean came out and started running his mouth
about how terrible fat people was and how Evansville
was filled with fat people. He went on to say that
there wasn’t anyone who would be willing to stand up
for fat people. This brought Rosey out, and they had a
match. It was basically comedy filler. Simon tried to
body slam and suplex Rosey to no avail. Simon won with
    a shot to the nuts.

Next up was Tajiri against Chuck Pulumbo. This wasn’t
that bad of a match considering the participants. A
few comedy spots and signature Tajiri moves were the
body of this match. Tajiri won with a kick to the
    head.

Gene Snitsky came out and talked about Lita and Kane
and how it wasn’t his fault, same old thing. The crowd
hated this guy with a passion. He fought the Hurricane, which ended in a squash. Snitsky won with a pump-handle slam. He them re-entered the ring to give the Hurricane another slam.

This brought upon the intermission. Basic stuff happened; the t-shirt guy came out and shot a few Survivor Series shirts into the crowd. The next match was a tag-team match between La Resistance and Regal and Eugene. Eugene got one of the loudest pops of the night. Before the match started Coach came out and said that Eric Bischoff said that there needed to be a special referee for the match, which turned out to be the Coach. This was a very good match to see. Eugene was comic gold. At one point he rolled himself into a ball and stayed that way. Robert Conway had no clue what to do with him. Regal was dancing around like Rico taunting the Frenchmen. The match ended when Regal tried to pin Conway and Coach faked a shoulder injury to stop the count. This caused Eugene to hit Coach with a Stone Cold Stunner, and use his hand to give the three count.

The next match was a seven Diva battle royal. There was Trish, Molly, Gail Kim, Nidia, Victoria, Stacy, and Jazz involved. This was a basic show of T&A. Jazz won. Nothing real exciting.

The next match was Shelton Benjamin versus Christian
for the IC title. These two put on a very good match.
I think Shelton has serious potential. The crowd was
all over Christian, many CLB chants. This was a back
and forth match, but Shelton pulled out the win with
    the T-Bone suplex.

The main event of the night was Batista and Flair versus Benoit and Orton in a no DQ match. Flair is one loved mother in Evansville. Benoit got the pop of the night. In case anyone was wondering Benoit had both tag belts with him. Flair was in a mood tonight, if Vince was pissed about the virgin comments from Raw he would have died if he was there. Flair came out and was trying to get the women in the first few rows to flash him. He kept pointing to Orton and the women and humping the air. I swear he flipped more birds than Austin. This was a very solid match with no real high points to mention other than one. Orton went for a sunset flip on Flair and all he could get was trunks. The only thing that was keeping Flairs shorts on was his Bait and Tackle. He ran bare-assed around the ring and slid outside to pull up his trunks…..there will
most likely be a surge of Flair ass shots on the Net soon. Benoit and Orton won this match after an RKO to Flair.

Overall this was one of the better house shows that I
have attended. I am sure the wrestlers were a little
disappointed about the turnout. The stadium was about
    1/4th of the way full.

    Biggest pops
    1. Benoit
    2. Flair
    3. Eugene
    4. Randy Orton
    5. Maven

    Biggest Heat
    1. Rodney Mack
    2. Gene Snitsky
    3. La Resistance
    4. Christian
    5. Simon Dean

Not a big crowd at Robert's Stadium, but I've seen worse turn outs at house shows.

    Results

    Simon Dean vs. Rosey
    Winner : Simon Dean
Nova, I mean Richard Simmons, I mean Simon sure hates fatties.

    Chuck Palumbo vs. Tajiri
    Winner : Tajiri (I think)

    Gene Snitsky vs. Hurricane
Winner : Snitsky, who came back to put a little more hurt on Hurricane after the match. (Why is Snitsky only capable of doing Test's moves? I'm sure it's not his fault.)

Eugene and William Regal vs. La Resistance, with special guest referee, Coach
Winners : Eugene and Regal, although Coach had to be knocked out first, with Eugene using Coach's lifeless arm for the count

    Women's Battle Royal
Trish vs. Nidia vs. Jazz vs. Gail Kim vs. Molly Holly vs. Victoria vs. Stacy Keibler, with special guest referee, Val Venis
Winner : Jazz. Jazz was also curiously making nice with the crowd, as if anyone cares

    Intercontinental Championship Match
Christian with Tyson Tomko vs. Shelton Benjamin
    Winner: Shelton Benjamin

Ric Flair and Batista vs. Randy Orton and Chris Benoit
Winners: Randy Orton and Chris Benoit
Orton, for whatever reason, gave us all a delightful treat by pulling Ric's man-panties down. They just barely held on over his frontal region, but his rear was in plain sight. For an eternity. While he hammed it up. There are some people you don't want to see naked in any way, shape, or form and he's one of them. Benoit came down with both tag belts, which shouldn't suprise anyone, just a note.

    Biggest Pops:
    Randy Orton
    Eugene and William Regal
Stacy Keibler's panties / Chris Benoit

    Biggest Heat:
Snitsky. You'd think the devil himself had shown up, setting kittens on fire and throwing them at old ladies and Jerry's kids
La Resistance. They're much more amusing live
Chuck Palumbo. When Chuck Palumbo wrestles, everyone loses.
