Stephanie/Tough Enough, HHH, TNA Workers Wrestling for Free?, more

• There is some controversy stemming from the Smackdown tapings in Omaha on Tuesday night in regards to a Tough Enough segment which will air later tonight.
  
  Both Stephanie McMahon and HHH suggested that it would be for the best if they edited around some of The Big Show's bodyslams on the Tough Enough contestants as they argued that some of the footage exposed the bodyslams as fake looking and exposing the business. As always, Vince McMahon has the final word and he called the WWE production studios today telling them that he wants the footage to air "as it" with no editing at all as he thinks it'll make for good television.
  
  
• Speaking of Triple H, the current World Heavyweight Champion will not be available at WWE house shows this coming weekend as he will attending and guest-hosting Mr. Olympia weekend, which is a huge bodybuilding event in Las Vegas.
  
  
• TNA recieved hordes of negative feedback yesterday when news broke out that TNA was not going to pay the enhancement wrestlers they use on TNA Impact! each and every week due to budget cuts as they'd have them work for free. Many of the local Florida promoters that provide talent for TNA then decided to pull their workers from their shows if they weren't going to get paid. Since then, TNA has changed their stance on the subject as they've called up the local Florida promoters supplying then talent and that the workers will continue to get paid $100 per appearance.
  
  
• Dave Meltzer's book Tributes II about recently deceased wrestlers and Mick Foley's children's fiction novel Tales from Wrescal Lane are currently the top two selling books on Amazon.com in that order.
  
  
• The unusual "DS" mystery which have made the letters "D" and "S" stand out in a different, bigger font on WWE.com among other websites is part of Nintendo's campaign for their upcoming "Nintendo DS" launch in November.
