Shane McMahon appeared in a recent edition of the Irish Independent newspaper, and talked about the brand extension.
He provided the usual WWE talking points about how the extension started off slowly but is now picking up and helping to make WWE even stronger.
The true newsworthy note came when he mentioned that WWE was originally looking at adding new brands, as well as a boxing promotion. He went onto say, however, that WWE does not feel the time is right for a boxing offering.
