WWE News: Shelton Benjamin talks about IC title win

  MILWAUKEE, WI – In the first match of Taboo Tuesday, Shelton Benjamin shocked the world by defeating Chris Jericho for the Intercontinental Championship.
  
  After capturing 37.48 percent of the audiences vote (approximately 2 percent more than 12 of the other possible contenders combined, and 17 percent more than second place Batista), Benjamin ran to the ring, and gave Y2J everything he had, before hitting a T-bone Suplex into a quick roll-up. Following his historic victory, Shelton took a moment to reflect.
  
  “I was at a loss for words,” the former WWE Tag Team Champion said. “I was shocked, then happy – It was like a dream come true. I’ve been chasing this belt since I came here, and I finally got it. The fans made it happen, and I’m still in awe. I have goose bumps running up and down my body.”
