IWF "Evil Intentions Weekend" October 23 & 24:
Dr. Tom Prichard to Highlight Events in West Paterson, NJ
(West Paterson, NJ)- Live Independent Wrestling Federation action returns to the IWF Centre, 32 Willow Way, West Paterson, NJ, with Evil Intentions Weekend this Saturday, October 23, 7:30 pm and Sunday, October 24, 3:30 pm. Highlighting the events is a special appearance by former WWE Tag Team Champion Dr. Tom Prichard. Here is a complete preview.
Topping the card on October 23rd in the main event is a Texas Bunkhouse Match for the IWF Heavyweight Title as three-time champion Roman defends against Outlaw Shane O'Brien. These combatants waged an incredible war last month at Fall Brawl Weekend in which Roman escaped with the gold in a Bullrope Match with a little help from Cowboy Bob Orton, but the score was far from settled. The roughneck O'Brien looks to capture his first singles championship end Roman's nine-month reign, which began January 17, 2004.
Bitter rivals meet again for the IWF American Title as two-time champion Biggie Biggs tangles with arch-nemesis BoneCrusher Fred Sampson. Sampson, a former heavyweight champion, is on a quest to dethrone Biggs and add the American Title to his impressive resume. Biggs, who held the American Title for a record 14 months in 2000 and 2001, is currently in the midst of a six-month reign.
In an IWF Tag Team Title Match with Dr. Tom Prichard serving as the guest referee, the unlikely duo of Kevin Knight and Dangerous Dan McGuire challenge two-time champions Shawn Donavan and Travis Blake. The tag title is the only belt Knight has never held, and he wants to defeat Donavan and Blake, even if he has to do it with the pesky McGuire as his partner.
In a Triple Threat Elimination Match for the IWF Junior Heavyweight Title, champion Aaron Stride faces friend and former champion Sean Royal, and Antonio Rivera.
With revenge on their mind, Chris Steeler and Jana face Tony Torres and Shayla in a mixed tag team rematch. It was Torres who assisted Shayla in eliminating Jana en route to winning a Ladies Battle Royal at August's Desperate Measures.
In a handicap match, Playboy Vik Voorhees takes on Robby Morrison and Bryan Harley; and in a battle of Chaotic Wrestling tag champions, Handsome Johnny meets partner Psycho in a singles match.
On day two of Evil Intentions Weekend on Sunday, October 24th, there will be a special appearance by Dr. Tom Prichard. And regardless of the IWF Heavyweight, American, and Tag Title match outcomes on October 23rd, Commissioner Sparxx will order return matches on October 24th with special stipulations.
Those championship bouts include an "I Quit Match" for the IWF Heavyweight Title as Roman faces Shane O'Brien; a Lumberjack Match for IWF American Title as Biggie Biggs meets Fred Sampson; and a best two-out-of-three falls match for the IWF Tag Team Titles with Kevin Knight and Dan McGuire against Shawn Donavan and Travis Blake.
In other action on October 24th, Chris Steeler faces former partner Playboy Vik Voorhees; and Handsome Johnny battles Tony Torres.
There will also be a contender's 10-person Battle Royal with the winner to meet IWF Junior Heavyweight Champion Aaron Stride. Set for the Battle Royal are Sean Royal, Antonio Rivera, Psycho, Pete Hanover, Tenyo, Carrie, Jordyn and more.

Dr. Tom Prichard to Kickoff 6th Year at Camp IWF Wrestling School:
Pro Wrestling Clinic Set for October 23rd & 24th in West Paterson, NJ
(West Paterson, NJ)- Former WWE Tag Team Champion Dr. Tom Prichard joins the Independent Wrestling Federation in kicking off the sixth year of the Camp IWF Pro Wrestling Training Program. Prichard is set to host a two-day Pro Wrestling Clinic on Saturday, October 23, and Sunday, October 24, 2004, at the IWF Centre, West Paterson, NJ.
Prichard is a former WWE Tag Champion with Chris Candido in The Bodydonnas, a former Smokey Mountain Tag Champion with Stan Lane and Jimmy Del Ray in The Heavenly Bodies, and most recently served as WWE Developmental Talent Trainer.
The clinic is from 10am to 4pm on October 23rd followed by an IWF Live Event at 7:30 pm, and from 10am to 1pm on October 24th followed by an IWF Live Event at 3:30 pm. Pre-registration is required and this in-ring instructional clinic is open to IWF members, independent wrestlers and fan observers. For more information visit www.WrestlingIWF.com.
Camp IWF hosts periodic Pro Wrestling Clinics with current superstars and legendary performers. Previous clinics have been conducted by Tom Prichard, WWE's Steven Richards, former WWE Intercontinental Champion The Honky Tonk Man, former WWE & UFC Champion Ken Shamrock, former WWE & WCW titleholder Ricky Steamboat, WWE Diva Dawn Marie, former WWE & WCW star Tom Brandi, and former ECW Champion Steve Corino.
Also, beginner classes for new trainees at the Camp IWF Pro Wrestling Training Centre start the first-weekend of every month, year-round. Since 1999, Camp IWF has trained hundreds of wrestlers who have performed for organizations across the world, including WWE, OVW, NWA, Canada and Japan. WWE Diva Dawn Marie trained at Camp IWF and had her first pro match in the IWF in 2001.
IWF graduates Roman, Fred Sampson, Shawn Donavan, Travis Blake, Aaron Stride, Hadrian and Brandon Young, along with head trainer Kevin Knight, performed for WWE in various roles on Raw, SmackDown, Heat, Velocity, Confidential, Survivor Series "Football" commercial, Raw "Escape the Rules" commercial, and as Undertaker's druids in WrestleMania XX. Also, IWF graduates Josh Daniels and Rob Eckos have performed for NWA-TNA.
