NWA-TNA turns away people at event, News on Marc Mero in the NWA-TNA

• At last night's Impact! tv tapings, the NWA-TNA had to turn around 700 people away after reaching full capacity for the show. The main reason for the huge turnout was the debut of DJ Russ Rollins, who is a DJ for the nationally syndicated radio show "Monsters in the Morning", in a dark match with former WWE & WCW superstar Marc Mero against The Steele Brothers.
  
  
• Speaking of Mero, the NWA-TNA worked an angle yesterday at the Impact! tv tapings where Mero turned on his partner DJ Russ Rollins. This turn will lead to Mero teaming up with current NWA Champion Jeff Jarrett to take on Rollins and "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes in a streetfight at the upcoming "Miss Monster" event on 10/09/04. At that same event, former Survivor star Johnny Fairplay will be wrestling two women.
