PWInsider.com reports that the communication error that led to WWE editing the script to RAW involved Lita not being informed she was needed on the show. Creative did not properly inform talent relations that Lita was required for the show, and the talent team consequently did not tell Lita to fly into Kansas City.
An airline ticket was, however, issued in Lita's name, so there definitely were plans inside WWE for Lita to give the promoted interview for RAW.
Once it became clear that Lita could not get into Kansas City for RAW, they rewrote the script to include the Kane interview.
