Tucson, Arizona WWE Sunday Night Heat Opener: The fireworks went off in the arena for the start of Sunday Night Heat as Todd Grisham and Marc Loyd welcomed us to the show. Gail Kim vs. Nidia The music of Gail Kim hit in the arena as she made her way to the ring for the opening match on Sunday Night Heat against Nidia! The start: Nidia and Gail Kim locked up and Kim locked in a side headlock and then took Nidia down to the mat for two. Nidia escaped with a headscissors, but Gail came back with a legsweep for two. Gail went back to the side headlock but Nidia escaped with a wrist lock and locked in a side headlock of her own. Nidia sent Gail to the ropes and took her down with a big back body drop and then scored with a body slam. The finish: Gail Kim locked in a vicious looking submission move in the middle of the ring, forcing Nidia to tap out, to end this hard fought contest! Earlier Tonight: Todd Grisham was backstage with William Regal and he asked his thoughts on Taboo Tuesday, and the match that was made this past Monday night between Eric Bischoff and Eugene. Regal said he would love to see Bischoff covered in Strawberry jam and have a million fireants have their way with him. Regal said, how about feed him to the piranhas, or cut his eyelids off. Regal said that Eric loves his hair, and if it was a hair match, he would love Eric to have a bald head. Regal said Eugene will not lose, because he has Regal on his side! Val Venis vs. Chuck Palumbo The music of Val Venis hit in the arena as he made his way out to the ring for a one on one match with Chuck Palumbo! The start: Chuck Palumbo and Val Venis locked up and Venis backed Chuck to the corner and then Chuck gave Val a thumb to the eyes and delivered a back suplex for two. Chuck whipped Venis to the buckle and then rammed him back first to the corner, and then followed up with a shoulder thrust and a knee to the head of Val Venis. Chuck stomped away on Venis and then delivered some right hands and then took Val down with a nice vertical suplex. The finish: Val Venis went for the Money Shot, but Chuck moved out of the way and then scored with a nice Samoan Drop to pick up the victory! Rodney Mack vs. Steven Richards The music of Rodney Mack hit in the arena as he made his way to the ring with Jazz and he will be going head to head with Steven Richards who charged to the ring! The start: Steven Richards charged into the ring and knocked Rodney Mack to the outside. Richards then scored with some right hands, and clotheslined Mack to the outside yet again, and the fans are really behind Richards. Mack fought back with a knee to the head and Richards went to run the ropes, but Jazz got on the apron. so Steven stopped. Mack went to attack from behind, but Richards moved and knocked Mack to the outside and then scored with a body press off the apron onto Mack on the outside! The finish: Jazz got on the apron and distracted Richards. Mack delivered a low blow and then scored with a DDT to pick up the victory! WWE Heat - Quick Match Results - Gail Kim def.
