As an example of just how "extemporaneous" WWE booking can be, there was actually serious talk in favor of having Orton regain the belt on RAW last week, the night after he lost the title to Triple H. Obviously, WWE nixed the angle.
One source offered, "It shows how much WWE is flying by the seat of their pants right now. Vince McMahon one week will have his mind set on going one direction, then someone else gets in his ear and he changes his mind."
