    Maximum Championship Wrestling
    Smyrna Boys and Girls Club
in Smyrna, DE on September 18th at 2pm

    1)Phenix pinned Studley T.

2)Brandon Mercury accompanied with his partner Matt Weber (who is due back in action in a few weeks after suffering cerebral hemorrhage back in June) took on Tristan Spade and Frank Savage in 3 way competition. Mercury came away with the decisive win.

3)Asian Sinsation and Adam Ugly continued their rivalry, and the Personal Guard Detail was conspicuos by his absence when Ugly came to ringside solo. As the match carried on outside the ring, Sinsation went for a Suicida attack which worked too well, as Ugly received a concussion, causing him to be unable to continue the match, and therefore Sinsation wins via countout.

After intermission, a newcomer to Maximum Championship Wrestling of large proportions made his way to the ring with the house mike and introduced himself as Kris Krude. It seems that Krude and reigning U. S. champion Shaka had a past relationship. Through the jeers and boos of the crowd Krude went on about how he had carried Shaka while they were tag team champions in the Philadelphia circuit some 2 to 3 years ago, when Krude went by Brickwall Bradley. Shaka and Bradley comprised the tean known as Excessive Force at that time and Bradley had all but disappeared from the wrestling scene. He now wanted Shaka to hand over his United States title, which lead to -

4)MCW UNITED STATES TITLE MATCH - after Krude finally relinquished the house mike, the announcement was made that the title would be defended in a 3 match. Ironically, this was the same kind of match in which Shaka won the strap in June. The next opponent to be announced was former MCW Heavyweight and Cruiserweight champion Chris Nightmare, who had faced Shaka 2 already and beat the champion in their last meeting in Dover last month in a non-title matchup. This would be the rubber match. The final intro was made and the Crimson Assassin himself emerged from the fog to the wild cries of the fans. If there was any shock on this man's face when he saw a figure from his recent past it never registered at any time as he slid under the bottom rope.
Krude tried to take the U. S. strap from Shaka as he attempted to hand it off to the Sr. official. Just before the bell rang, Krude challenged his opponents to a pose down. Krude, being at least 370 lbs. was instantly booed the minute he shot a double biceps. Nightmare and Shaka looked at each other and Nightmare went next to cheers of the crowd. Next came Shaka. After a pause, the champion, to the shock of everyone, shot a double biceps of his own, then a side bicep and side chest, then everyone went crazy. Shaka spends a lot of time in the gym and he is no slouch at all, as it shows in his conditioning. The posedown concluded with Shaka's signature Crimson Greeting, then the action began.
Shaka dropkicked Krude into a corner, and Nightmare mounted the second rope to rain punches on Krude. The attacks on all three were relentless. Krude and Shaka actually came to an agreement to reprise Excessive Force and Shaka threw the former champion out of the ring, where Krude attempted to drop a massive leg on him. Luckily, Nightmare got out of the way in time and Krude hit nothing but floor. Nightmare and Shaka got back into the fray where Shaka wore Nightmare's leg down but the former champion retorted with a Roman Death Cradle. Krude stopped the pin attempt and got Nightmare up for the Krude Awakening squaredriver, giving Krude a pin attempt to be halted by Shaka. Exchanges of pins and saves when on relentlessly until Krude got Nightmare up for a powerslam, only to be thwarted by Shaka, who was perched on the turnbuckle behind Krude to deliver the Last Ascension cutter to Krude, who was still holding Nightmar! e. Krude rolled out of the ring disoriented, leaving Shaka to pin Nightmare to retain his title.

5)MCW TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH - Jimmy Dream found a partner to challange the Varsity Boys for their title - former U.S. champion Massive Mike! Even with Trina and Trixie, the Sorority Girls in their corner, A+ Aken Pembrooke and C- Stacey Adams could not retain their belts. Chris Nightmare came out to personally congradulate his brother on his victory and raised both his and sometime rival Massive Mike's hands to the crowd's approval. A new team is in Maximum Championship - Jimmy Dream and Massive Mike.
