The following took place on September 4th, 1 day later than advertised due to the WWE's inability to meet the original date.

-Howard Finkle came out first to "Welcome To The Jungle" and helped energize the fans and introducing local D.J. of BigDawg 106, Mike Davis to the local crowd.

-Ric Flair interrupted Howard to a mixed response, went on about how usually places change except Beaumont, even referring to it as a sewer. Flair claimed there wasn't as ass he couldn't kick or a woman he couldn't kiss and left.

    -Val Venis VS Chuck Palumbo.
Venis came out first to a good pop. Chuck got some small heat. Venis gave his towel to a fairly large blonde woman. Okay match to start things. Venis got some loud kicks to Palumbo's face around the end and won with a rollup. Palumbo beat down Venis afterwards and left.

-Coach/Diva Danceoff segment. Coach came out to some good heat. He got the crowd riled up and unsurprisingly, when he mentioned the RAW Diva search, it was met with boos. He introduced us to the Dance off contestants, Molly Holly and Stacy Keibler. Molly did a ballet type dance met with jeers. Stacy won with one of her little cheerleader type dances. Molly attacked Stacy after losing to which Victoria interefered which prompted Trish Stratus to interfere followed by Nidia. Molly and Trish were met by Gail Kim on the outside as the face Divas remained in the ring and the match was made.

Molly Holly, Trish Stratus, & Gail Kim VS Victoria, Nidia, & Stacy Keibler.
Not a very organized Diva tag match. I yelled at Gail Kim to "split her tights again" (Happened at a Heat taping here last November). Tyson Tomko came down with the Womens title and tried to interfere unsuccessfully as he was superkicked by Steven Richards in drag. Anyways, Faces Divas won and all imitated Victorias shaky leg dance afterwards with Stacy trying to get Earl Hebner to do the same which he thankfully did not do.

    -Ric Flair VS Maven.
Ric taunted the fans again even insulting a teenage girl "in a training bra." Ric asked if anyone was man enough to face him to which Maven entered. Both played mind games with each asking the women in the front rows who they preferred. Maven even waved some insulting fan signs to Flair. Match went back and firth for about 15 minutes (surprising in that this match probably wouldn't get half as much time on TV. Couple of moments in which Flair's tights were pulled down by Maven. The first time I yelled at Flair "Thanks for scarring me for life!" The second time, a bunch of us in our section had the sense to look away. Flair eventually won with his feet on the ropes.

-La Resistance VS Christian & Tyson Tomko VS William Regal & Eugene.
Very predictable outcome though it's not to say it wasn't entertaining. Christian kept getting miffed by Eugene's antics and then agitated. Christian did mock Eugene's wave after finally getting the upperhand. Tomko & Christian were eliminated whe Regal & Eugene picked up and rammed Tomko headfirst into Christian's groin. Regal played the face in peril against La Resistance. Eugene got the hot tag and was a house of fire until Conway distracted Eugene and Grenier rolled him up using the tights for the win.

    -Intermission

-Lita was introduced and went on about how she might be Kane's property, but Kane is also her property and the match against HBK at Unforgiven. Kane came out and tried to intimidate Lita until Shelton Benjamin came down.

    -Kane VS Shelton Benjamin.
Benjamin got in some early offense but was beat down almost consistently afterwards by Kane. Kane got the win with the chokeslam on the second try and he drug Lita off to the back.

    -Batista VS Chris Benoit
Fairly enjoyable match with the fans strongly behind Benoit which irritated Batista to come to main section of Benoit's fans and scream at them then laugh at them. Benoit taunted Batista on the mic saying "if he didn't like hearing Benoit, maybe he'd like hearing 'tap-out" which was promptly chanted. Match went back and forst and up the aisle. Benoit wins with the crossface in what was surprisingly short compared to the tag and Maven/Flair matches..

    -Randy Orton VS Triple H
Triple H came out first taped up at the knees and ribs selling the sledgehammer shots from RAW. Orton enters to a massive pop. During the staredown, Orton keeps teasing like he's going to spit on HHH again. Match of the evening with both men hitting their trademark maneuvers and playing the crowd into it even HHH threatening a fan who kept screaming to the refabout HHH using his feet for leverage in the ropes on a reverse chin lock. Ref bump Flair runs down and is thrown out quickly by Orton, Batista comes down and gets a spinebuster in. Orton recovers and hits the RKO a few minutes later to win. Orton gets on the mic, insults Evolution, notices the local ladies, and wishes Beaumont a goodnight.
