• There are some backstage who felt showing HBK at the RNC, while also hyping his Unforgiven return, removed the impact of the Lita-Kane announcement.
  
  
• As reported, Tajiri was working with an injury last night, which explains why he did not have a huge role in the handicapped match last night.
  
  
• The man tributed pre-RAW last night, Marcin Makukski, was a graphic artist for WWE who died in a motorcycle accident earlier this month.
  
  
• Along with Christian, Shelton Benjamin is also awaiting a program for RAW. It was reported yesterday that either Christian or Shelton would replace Edge in the program with Jericho, and it seems that WWE decided to go with Christian, due to preexisting heat between the two characters.
