WWE happy with Kane/Lita wedding angle, Lesnar to be cut by the Vikings; no WWE return

WWE management were very happy with the rating that the Kane/Lita wedding drew for Raw. Many felt it was a great payoff for the angle and although there were many fans who didn't enjoy the whole 'wedding' idea, the rating that the segment did was very strong which is even more significant as previous week's ratings were very low.

Brock Lesnar is about to be cut by the Minnesota Vikings according to Minneapolis Star Tribune, there is even a chance Lesnar may not make the practice squad. To Lesnar's credit, many within the Vikings who at first opposed Lesnar joining, have put over his hard work. Lesnar himself is resigned to the fact he will not make the team. The consensus is that Lesnar should play in the World League and catch on at a camp next year.

Even though it looks like Lesnar won't make the cut, sources report that he isn’t even considering a return to wrestling at the moment.

Note from Tito: Just adding another Lesnar note to this piece:

-This news is in conjunction with Brock Lesnar's pre-season performance on Friday against the Atlanta Falcons as reported by Jason Williams of the St. Paul Pioneer Press:

"Defensive tackle Brock Lesnar, the former professional wrestler who has drawn national attention for trying his hand at football, entered the game with about 10 minutes left in the fourth quarter. Two ineffective plays later, he was back on the bench."

This was from a full preseason review of the game and this was just a note added at the bottom of the page. The full article can be seen at PioneerPress.com through a subscription to the website.
