RBW News: New event dates added, Heavyweight tournament extended

    Revolution British Wrestling have announced two additional events to take place this year, on top of the already scheduled events.

    The two new events see RBW debut in Tring, Hertfordshire on Saturday 9th October, and a return to Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, but in a new venue on Saturday 6th November.

    This brings the rest of the year's schedule as:

    Saturday 25th September 2004 in Finchley, London
    Saturday 9th October 2004 in Tring, Hertfordshire
    Saturday 23rd October 2004 in Hitchin, Hertfordshire
    Saturday 6th November in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire
    Saturday 13th November 2004 in Chingford, London
    Saturday 20th November 2004 in Luton, Bedfordshire
    Saturday 11th December 2004 in Finchley, London

    The recently announced British Heavyweight Championship Tournament has now been extended, in order to add another eight competitors to it, which we are sure will please the RBW fans.

    The eight extra wrestlers include the likes of "Anarchist" Doug Williams, Sammy Ray, "Flying" Phil Powers, Ashe from the New Breed and others, on top of the already announced line-up.

    Currently, the line-up for the tournament is as follows


    Saturday 25th September 2004
    Finchley, London

    Qualifier Contest 1 - "Golden Boy" Cameron Knite vs Johnny Kidd
    Qualifier Contest 2 - "Sadistic" Jack Storm vs Tex Benedict (replacing "The Gift" Ross Jordan who will be meeting Ashe in Chingford as part of the tournament)
    Quarter Final 1 - Winner of Qualifier Contest 1 vs Winner of Qualifier Contest 2

    Saturday 23rd October 2004
    Hitchin, Hertfordshire

    Qualifier Contest 3 - "Wildcat" Robbie Brookside vs J.C Thunder
    Qualifier Contest 4 - "Sensation of the Nation" Rob Hunter vs To Be Confirmed
    Quarter Final 2 - Winner of Qualifier Contest 3 vs Winner of Qualifier Contest 4

    Saturday 13th November 2004
    Chingford, London

    Qualifier Contest 5 - To Be Confirmed
    Qualifier Contest 6 - "The Gift" Ross Jordan vs Ashe from The New Breed

    The Qualifier Contest 8 is yet to be announced in regards to its location and competitors.
