Backstage News: Huge update on The Rock, Big former DX member live at RAW, more

The Rock's 'surprise' appearance at last night's RAW was planned in advance, which caused some backstage confusion as to why WWE didn't hype his return in advance for a ratings pop. Usually, WWE's internal argument is that having surprise appearances leads to increased viewer interest, as viewers "never know what to expect."

Sean "X-Pac" Waltman was also backstage at RAW. It is still not known if Chyna's claims that X-Pac already has a WWE job lined up are true.

Joining Rock, Waltman, and Austin backstage was rapper/actor Method Man.
