WWE News: Undertaker changes Summerslam finish, Info on No Mercy

- There is talk going around backstage that the Undertaker used his influence in the WWE to change the finish of his WWE Championship match with John "Bradshaw" Layfield at Summerslam. The originial ending to the bout was for John Heidenreich to come down and cost Taker the match via DQ, allowing JBL to retain the gold and starting the planned Heidenreich/Taker feud. However, Taker managed to get the match changed to what we saw on the PPV, and his feud with Heidenreich has been delayed for right now.
- In an interesting triva fact, if the WWE goes through with plans for a JBL/Taker WWE Championship rematch at No Mercy, it will be the third straight year that The Undertaker has challenged for the WWE Championship in the main event of the No Mercy PPV (He faced Brock Lesnar for the title in 2002 in a Hell in the Cell Match, and again in 2003 in a "Biker Chain on a Pole" match.)
