WWE House Show Results from Fargo, North Dakota 8-21-04

Just got back from the Fargo Dome House Show, here are the results.

The Crowd went crazy over Howard Finkel as he came out to the theme song "Welcome to the Jungle"

1st match was Tajiri and Rino vs. Chuck Palumbo and Simon Dean. Dean acted like a fairy quite a bit but was eventually GORED by Rino as Tajiri took out Palumbo. Pretty good starter match.

Trish Stratus came out and worked the crowd pretty good. She then called out Victoria to apologize for what happened on Raw. Victoria went to power bomb Trish when Molley Holly came out and a match was started between those two. Molley eventually got the pin with Trish's help.

Rosy took on Rodney Mack with Jazz. Pretty fair match with Rodney getting the pin.

Maven came out to a huge pop. Maven took on Val Venis. Val was working the crowd, telling Maven how after the match, they were going to find the prettiest women in Fargo and shake up the town, but he could not find any pretty women in Fargo. Lots of action with Maven picking up the win and he found a pretty women.

Tyson Tomko with Trish Stratus took on Shelton Benjamin. Long match with Victoria coming out to knock down the interfering Trish. Shelton picked up the win and he and Victoria hugged and swatted each other on the butt for awhile.

La Resistance put up the titles against Regal and Eugene. Very funny match with Regal getting pinned. Eugene then cleaned house with all of his stolen finishing moves.

Edge put up the Title against Jericho. Pretty rough match as Edge ended up getting a pretty good cut all the way across his lower back. Both gave us all of their moves with Edge getting the pin fall on a roll up and reversal. The crowd was totally split as to who to cheer for 50/50.

HHH came out and sprayed water all over everyone in the front row. He started in on telling Randy Orton how only HHH deserved the title. The crowd was yelling "you tapped out" the whole time. Orton finally came out and they went at it for awhile until Orton started getting the edge, then Batista came out to help and then Chris Benoit came out to help Orton. After clearing the ring, Benoit issued a challenge to HHH and Batista. HHH said NO and he and Batista walked away. Benoit and Orton chassed them down the aisle and brought them back into the ring and the match was on. Orton took most of the pounding and then all 4 men were in the ring. Benoit took out Batista with the flying head butt off the top rope. Orton then came out of nowhere to take out HHH with the RKO and the pin.

Very good house show. The crowd was into it the entire night. The only big disappointment was Ric Flair did not show as advertised.
