NWA-TNA Impact! Wrestling - August 20, 2004

    Irish Pat Kenney vs. Jeff Jarrett
    Kenney knocks Jarrett down a few times, and then puts him in a headlock. He then hits Jarrett with a hip toss, right before Jarrett slips out of the ring. Kenney rolls out and then slides Jarrett back into the ring. When Kenney rolls back in, Jarrett starts to stomp on him. Kenney fights back and then rolls Jarrett up twice for a two count on each of them. Kenney goes for a superkick on Jarrett, but Jarrett moves and then he hits the stroke on Kenney. He gets a three count on the pin.
    Winner: Jeff Jarrett

    Jarrett starts to talk trash about how he is going to beat Jeff Hardy on September 8 and retain his title. Kenney attacks Jarrett from behind, but Jarrett eventually gets the upperhand and then smashes his guitar over Kenney's head.

    COMMERCIAL

    Mikey Batts & Jerrelle Clark vs. Kid Kash & Dallas
    Kash and Batts start out the match. They push eachother, and then they slap eachother. Batts hits a leg lariat on Kash and then makes a tag to Clark. Kash then makes a tag to Dallas. Batts and Clark try to double team on Dallas, but Dallas knocks them both down. Clark makes a tag to Batts, and then Dallas makes a tag to Kash. Batts trys to roll up Kash for a pin twice, but gets a two count both times. Kash fights back before Batts tags in Clark and Kash tags in Dallas. Clark uses punches and kicks on Dallas, but they don't work. Dallas slams him down and pins him for three.
    Winners: Kid Kash & Dallas

    After the match, Kash uses the moneymaker on Clark.

    COMMERCIAL

    Eddie Villa vs. Petey Williams
    Williams starts out with punches on Villa and then starts to kick him, and then hit a vertical suplex, then slam him down to the mat, then hit a neckbreaker, and finally slams his head into the turnbuckle. Villa starts to fight back with a kick and then a punch. He and Williams both go for a clothesline at the same time and they both fall down. Villa springs off the rope and does a backflip, but misses Williams. Williams gets on the advantage, and then starts reelin' him in which is the set up for the canadien destroyer, which he hit next. He got the pinfall on Villa.
    Winner: Petey Williams

    After the match, Scott D'Amore came down to congratulate Williams on his win. Then Dusty Rhodes came down and got ready to fight. Bobby Roode came down and attacked Rhodes from behind. He and Williams held Rhodes up so D'Amore could slap him across the face. The next thing you know, Konnan and B.G. James run down and chase Team Canada out of the ring.

    COMMCERCIAL

    Abyss & Alex Shelley w/Goldylocks vs. Chris Harris & James Storm
    Abyss and Harris start out the match. Abyss clubs Harris in the back a few times before making a tag to Shelley. Harris clotheslines Shelley, and Shelley ran back over to Abyss and tagged him back in. Harris tried to take Abyss down with some punches, a clothesline, a double axehandle smash, and some kicks, but Abyss still slams him down to the mat. Abyss makes a tag to Shelley. Shelley hits a neckbreaker on Harris and then gets a two count. Shelley tags Abyss and Abyss punches on Harris. Harris clotheslines Abyss. Abyss tags Shelley in and Harris tags in Storm. Storm takes out Abyss and Shelley before tagging Harris back in. They hit a doubleteam flapjack on Abyss. All four men are now in the ring battling. Abyss tries to give a big boot to him, but he moves and Shelley gets hit with it. Storm superkicks Abyss, and Harris spears Shelley and picks up the pinfall.
    Winners: Chris Harris & James Storm

    After the match, Goldylocks started to push Abyss after yelling at him. Shelley steps in and also pushes Abyss. Abyss grabs Shelley around the neck and holds him for awhile trying to figure out whether or not he wanted to chokeslam him. The crowd definately wanted to see it. Abyss finally listened to Goldylocks and let Shelley go.

    COMMERCIAL

    Demetus Anglin vs. Monty Brown
    The match starts out with a tie up. Then Brown hits Anglin with a suplex. Then he goes on with stomps, backhands to the chest, and then whips him into the ropes and hits the pounce. He picks up the three count very easily.
    Winner: Monty Brown

    COMMERCIAL

    Then is Jeff Hammond's six points of impact. This week it is with Larry Zybsko. The six points were:
    -mentally tough -Hardy vs. Jarrett
    -Harley Race -Terry Funk
    -Dusty Rhodes -Vince Russo

    Don West and Mike Tenay talk about the upcoming pay-per-view.

    Scott D'Amore, Petey Williams, and Bobby Roode come out and D'Amore calls out 3 Live Kru and Dusty Rhodes. They come out and the teams start fighting. Inside the ring, Rhodes attacks D'Amore and it took the teams, referees, security, and Vince Russo to break it up.

    COMMERCIAL

    Jason Cross & Frankie Kazarian & Michael Shane w/Traci vs. Ron Killings & A.J. Styles & Jeff Hardy
    Kazarian and Killings start out the match. They switch headlocks, and then Killings punches Kazarian in the face. He continues with a hiptoss, a wristlock, and another hiptoss before tagging in Styles. Kazarian tags in Shane and Shane kicks Styles. They keep switching wristlocks with eachother, and then Styles hits an armdrag on Shane, before they start swapping wristlocks again. Shane punches on Styles, and then Styles dropkicks Shane. Styles makes a tag to Hardy who kicks on Shane, and then hits him with a double leg takedown. Kazarian comes in illegaly and attacks Hardy from behind. The men are in the ring fighting with eachother, sometimes Hardy's team double teaming on the other, and sometimes Shane's team double teaming on Hardy's. When it all calms down Hardy and Cross are in the ring. Hardy makes a tag to Killings who kicks Cross. Kazarian comes back in and knocks Killings down. Cross hits a legdrop on Killings, and then a bodyslam. He climbs the top turnbuckle and goes for the crossfire, but Killings moves and he misses. Killings makes a tag to Hardy and Hardy takes out the whole other team. Hardy hits the twist of fate on Cross, but only gets a two count before Shane breaks it up. Styles and Killings beat down Shane and Kazarian before Hardy climbs the turnbuckle and hits a swanton on Cross. He gets an easy three count.
    Winners: A.J. Styles & Ron Killings & Jeff Hardy
