Former WWE superstar Sean O’Haire, who was arrested on Tuesday and charged with assault and battery on two women, has publicly denied the charges. According to an article in The Savannah Morning News O’Haire claims that the women actually attacked him.
"I'm a professional fighter," O’Haire told the newspaper. "If I was going to assault these people, they'd be in the hospital."
O’Haire said that one of the women started to dance with him in the VIP room of Club Hypnotic. He said that after she got his attention she pushed him. He retaliated by telling a bouncer to get her away from him calling her a “stupid bitch” in the process. O’Haire claimed that was when another woman and three men went after him leaving him with a split lip and ripped shirt. He said that he was surprised to learn that there was a warrant out for his arrest and how ridiculous people can make something.
O’Haire who also wrestled in the now defunct WCW was released from WWE last month.
