According to sources within the wrestling business, Rowdy Roddy Piper has resumed contact with WWE CEO Vince McMahon via fax in hopes of a potential return to the company.
In a fax sent from Piper to McMahon on July 2nd he presented his side of the story for the statements that he made while doing an appearance on HBO’s “Real Sports” segment on deaths in professional wrestling last year which eventually led to him being let go by the company.
Piper included in the fax character ideas for a possible return angle. No update as of yet on what McMahon’s feelings are on Piper returning although we will bring you the details as they become available.
