Hello everyone, and welcome to THE VELOCITY REPORT! I have just come home from my first vacation in years, and I'm now ready to watch some sweaty men in underwear roll all over each other! But first, wrestling. HAH!

    Hardcore Holly Vs. Akio
The match starts with Akio signaling the crowd. After he is booed, Holly signals the crowd, and is cheered immensely. After being distracted by the loyal fans, Akio nails Holly with a spinning heel kick. Akio begins to throw some haymakers, and then chokes Holly on the ropes. Akio hits a snapmre takedown, and then a running leg drop on Holly. Akio is on Holly like white on rice(or like HHH on microphone), as he applies a sleeper hold. Akio lets go, only to nail a SWEET enziguiri for a nearfall. Akio continues on the offensive with some kicks, followed by a neckbreaker for another nearfall. Holly is stuck in another sleeper variation, but slowly he gets back on his feet, and begins clubbing Akio. Akio goes for a headlock, but is thrown into the ropes. Both men hit each other, and both are down. Both men are up, and Holly is on fire as he hits two clotheslines and a powerslam for a 2 count. Holly sets Akio up on the ropes, and kicks him where the sun shall never shine(unless you are upside down)! Holly nails an AWESOME dropkick for another 2 count. Holly takes Akio to the corner, and proceeds to knife edge chop his chest three times. Akio is whipped into the opposite corner, leaps over Holly, and hits a superkick for a 2 count. Akio goes for a spin kick, but Holly catches him, and drops him with the Alabama Slam for the 3 count.

    Winner Via Pinfall: Hardcore Holly

Still to come: Rob Van Dam Vs. Rene Dupree

    Commercial Break

We are back, and the situation between JBL and The Undertaker from this past Thursday is shown. JBL had issued a "Rocky" challenge(in Philly) to any wrestler. If anyone could beat him, they would fight him at Summerslam. Mike Kruel came out, but unfortunately was beaten down. JBL said that he now has no match at Summerslam, until the *Gong* hit. Undertaker came out, and totally scared the crap out of the WWE Champion. JBL tried to save his ass by saying that Shannon Moore would fight him at the ppv, but Taker just stood there. JBL counted to three for Taker to leave, but he continued to stand there. JBL went for a cheap shot, but Taker nails a chokeslam. Taker grabs the mic, and says, " You, Me, Summerslam!". SO, at Summerslam, it will be John Bradshaw Layfield defending the WWE Championship against The Undertaker! The theme song for Summerslam is "Summertime Blues" by the great band RUSH. OF SALESMEN!

    Commercial Break

The WWE Slam of the Week: This past Thursday, Spike Dudley defeated Jamie Noble and Chavo Guerrero in a triple threat match to earn a Cruiserweight title match against Rey Mysterio next week.

We are back, and the next match is.....next.

Danny Basham w/Doug Basham Vs. Johnny Stamboli w/Nunzio (F.B.I.)
The match starts with a lockup and headlock by Danny. Danny gets a hammerlock, then slaps Johnny in the back of the head. Johnny takes Danny into the corner, but is forced to break it up. After getting bitch-slapped, Danny goes to the outside. Danny gets back in the ring, and Johnny gives him a classic eye rake. Johnny delivers a nice punch combo, but is thrown to the outside by Danny. Doug shoves Johnny into the ring post, allowing Danny to get on the offensive. Danny stomps on Johnny, and foot chokes him in the corner. Danny hits a snapmare takedown, then an elbow drop for a nearfall. Danny chokes Johnny in the ropes again, before slingshotting him throat first into the second rope. Danny goes for a cover, but gets a nearfall. Johnny gets stuck in a neck vice, but slowly turns it into a rollup for a 2 count. Johnny blocks a puch, and rolls Danny up again for another 2 count. Johnny is whipped chest first into the corner, and then dropped with a reverse ddt. Danny goes for a cover, but Johnny has his foot on the ropes. Danny makes another cover, but gets a 2 count. Danny wrenches the neck/back area again, but the crowd gets behind Johnny, helping him to his feet. Johnny breaks the hold, but is slammed back to the mat. Danny goes for a second rope splash, but gets a face full of boot instead. Johnny begins throwing punches like mad, gets whipped into the corner, and hits Danny with a HARD clothesline. Johnny hits a backdrop, goes for a military press, but Danny gets out of it. Danny hits the ropes, but Johnny counters with a spinebuster into a Boston Crab. Doug distracts Johnny, forcing him to let go the submission. Danny clotheslines Johnny out of the ring, but Doug can't attack him, as Nunzio rushes to protect him. Danny sends Nunzio face first into the ring post, and brings Johnny back into the ring. Johnny nails some forearms, a Manhattan Drop, goes to the ropes, but Doug hits him hard. Danny goes for a powerbomb. but Johnny backdrops him. Danny goes for a sunset flip, but Johnny sits down, holds the legs, and gets the surprise 3 count!

Winner Via Pinfall: Johnny Stamboli w/Nunzio (F.B.I.)

This week on Smackdown, two friends collide for the Cruiserweight Championship as Spike Dudley faces Rey Mysterio. Two tag teams collide as well, as the Dudley's face The Shooting Stars of Paul London and Billy Kidman for the WWE Tag Team Championships. Enter the Dudley, next week!

    Commercial Break

The WWE Sting of the Night: 2 weeks ago on Smackdown, El Gran Luchadore interfering in the cage match, allowing JBL to retain the WWE Championship against Eddie Guerrero. It is revealed that the luchadore is actually the "injured" GM, Kurt Angle.

We are back, and the situation involving Kurt Angle from this past Thursday is recapped. Before the end of the evening, Kurt Angle had been firing superstars(Funaki, Tony Chimel, the Divas), and forcing out apologies. By the end of the night, he expected Eddie Guerrero to beg for his job, or be fired. Instead, Vince "The Man" Mcmahon comes out, scaring the gold medals out of Angle. Vince is pissed that Angle had been firing superstars, and had lied to everyone about his injury at the hands of the Big Show. "It's career suicide to fool with Mr.Mcmahon". Vince asks for Kurt's resignaion, but Angle gets on his knees and begs for his job. He keeps up his "injury" story, but Vince doesn't buy it. Kurt is fired as GM, and Vince even tries attacking Kurt with his own crutch(showing Angle is indeed not hurt). Vince puts Kurt back on the active wrestling roster, and books Kurt against Eddie Guerrero at Summerslam in a grudge match. Eddie comes out in a low rider, and gives Vince a ride.

Up Next: Rob Van Dam Vs. Rene Dupree

    Commercial Break

We are back, and it is now time for our main event!

Rob Van Dam Vs. "The French Phenom" Rene Dupree w/Fifi
The two men start with a hard lockup, leading to a forced break in the corner. Rob hits a clothesline, but Rene crawls to the corner. Rob hits a drop toe hold, an armdrag, goes for a spinning heel kick, but Rene retreats to the outside. The fans heckle Rene, as Rob goes to the outside, and throws Rene into the ring post. The crowd is behind Van Dam, as Rob sets Rene on the barricade. Rob goes to the ring apron, and hits a spinning leg lariat to the back of Rene. Vintage RVD! Rene back in the ring, and Rob hits a slingshot leg drop from the apron into the ring for a 2 count. Rene rakes the eyes, but Rob hits a quick spin kick to remain in control. Rob goes to the top rope, but is pushed off and sent face first onto the barricade. The match continues next!

    Commercial break

We are back, and Rene is in control. Rene hits some chops, and sends Rob into the corner. Rene hits a dropkick for a 2 count. Rene tosses Rob to the outside, and does a little dance. On the outside, Rene slams Rob into the announce table, and taunts the crowd. Back in the ring, Rene makes a cover, but gets only 2. Rene slams Rob, and performs the French Tickler, much to the dismay of the Pro-RVD crowd. RVD gets up and hits a spinning heel kick. Rene is bleeding from the mouth a bit, as he goes to attack Rob in the corner. Rob kicks him in the face, and hits a SWEET split legged moonsault for a 2 count. Rene reverses a whip, Rob backflips out of danger, lands some puches, Rene goes for a powerbomb, gets backdropped, rolls Rob in a sunset flip, Rob rolls out of it and dropkicks Rene in the face. Rob goes to the ropes and hits the Rolling Thunder, much to the delight of the crowd! Rob makes a cover, but Rene kicks out. Rene is whipped into the corner, but gives Rob a boot. Rene goes to the second rope, misses a splash, Rob goes to the ropes and connects with a kick. Rob goes to the top, and nails the 5 Star Frog Splash for the 1, 2, 3!

Winner Via Pinfall: Rob Van Dam

Demott's Turning Point: When Rene did the French Tickler, allowing Rob to regain control of the match.
