NWA-TNA Impact! Wrestling Report - June 23, 2004

Jerrelle Clark vs. A.J. Styles
The match starts off with a tie up. Clark gets a wristlock on Styles. Syles puts a headlock on Clark and then hits him with a dropkick. Clark hits a flying headscissors on
Styles and then puts him in an armbar. There is a little bit of back and forth wrestling before Styles springs off the ropes into an inverted DDT on Clark. Clark attempts the sidebracer leg sweep on Styles, but Styles gets out and then hits the style's clash on Clark and gets the pinfall.
Winner: A.J. Styles
The show goes into commercial.
Abyss & Alex Shelley w/Goldylocks vs. Abismo Negro & Mr. Aguila
Abismo and Shelley start out the match. The switch holds for a little bit, then they switch pin attempts. Then there is a little bit of back and forth wrestling. Abismo tags Aguila and they doubleteam on Shelley for a bit. Aguila gets some chops in on Shelley, then a clothesline, back elbow, and then a pin attempt, but only got a two count. Aguila gives Shelley some clubs to the back and then tags Abismo. Shelley tags Abyss. Abyss punches on Abismo, and then hits a body slam, and an elbow to the head. Abyss tags Shelley. Shelley hits a vertical suplex on Abismo and then gets a two count. Abismo tags Aguila who punches on Shelley. Abismo and Aguila then doubleteam on Shelley and then on Abyss. Abyss gets in the shock treatment backbreaker on Aguila. Abismo tries to beat down Abyss, but Abyss didn't allow it and beat down Abismo instead. Shelley came in and took out Aguila and pinned him for a three count as Abyss already had Abismo in a pin cover. Abyss should've had the win for his team, but instead it was Shelley.
Winners: Abyss & Alex Shelley w/Goldylocks

Antonio Banks vs. Monty Brown
Brown clubs Banks on the back, throws him outside, drops him on the guard rail, gives him another club to the back, and then rolls him back into the ring. Banks tries to fight back with some punches, but then Brown knocks him down with a clothesline. Brown hits the pounce and gets the three count.
Winner: Monty Brown
The show goes into commercial.
Petey Williams & Bobby Roode & Eric Young & Johnny Devine w/Scott D'Amore vs. Chris Sabin & Sonjay Dutt & Amazing Red & Mikey Batts in an 8-man tag team match
The match starts out of control with everyone beating up the other team. When it calms down, Roode stomps on Dutt, hits a double underhook suplex, and then gets a two count. Dutt tags in Sabin and then Sabin basically takes out all of Team Canada by himself. Sabin hits a DDT on Roode, but only gets a two count before a member of Team Canada broke it up. Sabin, Dutt, Red, and Batts all hit hurricanranas off the top turnbuckles on all four members of Team Canada. Batts hits a stunner on Roode, but only gets a two count. The match gets out of control again. When it calms down again, Roode and Williams are doubleteaming on Batts. Williams hits the canadian destroyer on Batts and then pins him for a three count.
Winners: Petey Williams & Bobby Roode & Eric Young & Johnny Devine w/Scott D'Amore

Kid Romeo vs. Raven
Raven pounds on Romeo and then stomps on him in the corner. Raven throws him outside, hits three side russian leg sweeps into the guard rail, throws him back inside, hits a clothesline, a high knee lift to Romeo's face, and then the raven effect. Then Raven pinned him.
Winner: Raven
Sabu comes down and Raven slaps him. Sabu jumps over the guard rail and attacks Raven. The two of them fight back and forth for a short amount of time, before security breaks it up.
The show goes into commercial.
Jeff Hammond did his Six Points of Impact segment with Dusty Rhodes this week. The six points were Impact Wrestling, Vince Russo, Jeff Hardy, Monty Brown, Jeff Jarrett, and the World Championship.
Joe Williams and Daniel Coria from the USA Olympic wrestling team walked down the ramp.
Don West and Mike Tenay talk about this Wednesday's pay-per-view.

Jeff Jarrett w/Shawn Hernandez & Onyx & Chad Collyer vs. Shark Boy
Jarrett slams Shark's head into the guard rail, the announce table, and then the guard rail again. Jarrett punches Shark in the head and then throws him over the guard rail into the crowd. Jarrett drops Shark down on the guard rail and Shark's throat hit the rail. Jarrett stomps on Shark, slams his head into the wall, gives him a chair to the gut, then hits him across the back with the chair, and then slams his head into the wall again. Jarrett takes Shark up the stairs into the second level of the crowd and slams his head into the steps. Jarrett stomps on Shark and then body slams him on the steps. Jarrett walks down and goes to get the chair, but out of nowhere, Shark jumps on him. Shark starts to punch Jarrett, then sets him on the guard rail and bites him in the behind. The two get in the ring and Shark hits three missile dropkicks off the top turnbuckle on Jarrett in a row. He goes for a pin, but only gets a two count. Jarrett hits a low blow on Shark and then hits the stroke and then gets the pinfall.
Winner: Jeff Jarrett w/Shawn Hernandez & Onyx & Chad Collyer
Jarrett gets on the microphone and calls out Jeff Hardy before hitting Shark over the head with his guitar. Hardy runs down and attacks Jarrett. Monty Brown comes down and hits the pounce on Hardy. The show ends with Brown and Jarrett staring at eachother argueing.
