LOP Exclusive: Interview with Diva Search Contestant Amy Weber

We at Lordsofpain.net were recently privileged with the opportunity to have a telephone interview with WWE Diva Search contestant Amy Weber.

Steven Schaeffer: Who are you, how long have you been involved in show business and what are some highlights of your career?

Amy Weber: I was raised on a small corn farm in Mapleton, Illinois. I raced flat track Motorcycles when I was growing up. I was a total tomboy. My parents moved us to Florida and I came to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career 7 years ago. Some of the Highlights of my career include starring on Howard Stern’s Baywatch Parody “Son of the Beach” as well as appearances on shows such as CSI, Melrose Place, 7th Heaven, 18 wheels of Justice and Port Charles as well as appearing in such Magazines as Maxim, Stuff Magazine, FHM, Playboy and Muscle & Fitness. SS: How did you get involved with the WWE Diva Search?

AW: After working for Howard Stern playing Porcelain Bidet on “Son of the Beach, “ I was looking for something that would be as much fun and not restrictive. The WWE Diva Search sounded like a great opportunity and my modeling agent is a Die Hard WWE fan!

SS: What is your experience with the WWE been like?

AW: It has been amazing. I have such a newfound level of respect for the Stars of Raw.

SS: Were you a fan of the WWE or wrestling before entering the WWE Diva Search?

AW: I became a huge fan after seeing the Rock and DX live at Staples center several years ago!

SS: What was being on Raw like? Did you get to speak or interact with any of the wrestlers? Which ones?

AW: Being on Raw was such a privilege! All of the wrestlers were extremely supportive, especially Jericho and The Hurricane!

SS: Why do you think you deserve to win the WWE Diva Search?

AW: I deserve to win the Diva Search because Evolution needs a serious spanking and I’m just the Diva to do it!

SS: Who among the other contestants will be your biggest competition in the coming weeks?

AW: Probably Christy Hemme unless Jericho gets Kane entered somehow…

SS: What would you like to do if you became a WWE Diva?

AW: Do my best to entertain the fans of WWE and possibly get involved in the many charitable events that the WWE supports each year, such as Smackdown the Vote, visiting children’s hospitals and entertaining the troops among others.

SS: Why should the average fan be interested in the coming weeks of the WWE Diva Search?

AW: It will be a great opportunity to really get to know the girls better and see what they can do. I know that we are seen as eye candy right now, but a lot of the girls came from television and have a lot to offer. Also, we never know what the WWE is going to throw at us each Monday night, so it should be interesting to see what happens.
