WWE House Show Results from Sudbury, Ontario, Canada 7-4-04

    Opening match:
    RVD V.S D-Von Dudley
    The match started really slow, they threw each other around abit untill RVD got slapped in the face by D-Von and he started throwing rapid karate kicks at him.
    RVD won with the 5 Star Frog Splash.

    Second Match:
    Kenzo Sazuki V.S Billy Gunn
    Before the match started Kenzo cut a Japanese promo and no one could understand him, then Billy Gunn came out and made fun of him for not knowing english, then told him he had two words for him "SUCK IT!"
    Kenzo won with that claw into the STO type move.

    Third Match:
    Akio and Sakoda V.S FBI
    FBI played the faces. Akio and Sakoda lost via the Kiss Of Death. Nothing really special in this match, except for some cool power offence from Johnny the Bull.

    Fourth Match:
    Luther Rains V.S Charlie Hass
    They didn't give Cena any mic time, but don't worry Luther gets like 5 minuites. He basically said Kurt Angle would'nt come here tonight, and in any normal case he would appologize, but since Sudbury is such a trash town he does'nt give a shit.
    Luther won with a modified reverse swinging neck breaker.

    Fifth Match:
    WWE United States Championship
    Triple Threat Match
    John Cena (c) V.S Rene Dupree V.S Booker T
    Cena got one of the biggest ovations of the night for sure. He never cut a promo, which was kinda crappy, but the match was awesome.
    John Cena defeated Booker T to retain the WWE United States Championship.

    15 Min. Intermission.

    Sixth Match:
    WWE Cruiserweight Championship
    Rey Mysterio (c) V.S Chavo Guerrero
    Before the match started Rey took the mic and said for tonight only, instead of the 619 it was the 705 (Sudbury's area code) He got a pop for that.
    Rey won with the 705 and a big splash off the top rope.

    Seventh Match:
    WWE Dive Swimsuit Contest
    Torrie Wilson V.S Sable V.S Miss Jackie
    Scotty 2 Hottie hosted the event as a special guest. Crowd poped for Scotty then they all poped for the ladies.
    Torrie won by vote of the crowd.

    Main Event:
    WWE Championship
    Canadian Street Fight, Must win by pinfall, Falls count anyware.
    JBL (c) V.S Eddie Guerrero
    Lots of mic time to JBL, did'nt really hear what he had to say because the sound systems sucked.
    Lots of fighting in the crowd. I almost got elbowed in the face by JBL.
    JBL got the win with the low blow and the roll up.
    After the match Eddie got revenge and kicked him back in the junk, then just as he was about to smash JBL with the belt Chavo came out and attacked him. Then D-Von joined in on the beat down. Suddenly RVD and Rey came out to make the save. Then Luther, Booker T and Rene came out to beat down the faces, then Cena and Scotty came out to make the save and clean house. They all hit there finishing moves on the wounded JBL as all the heels ran to the back. Scotty 2 Hottie tied JBL's shoe laces together when he was down. Eddie then got on the mic and said that in two weeks he will hit JBL with a frog splash from the top of the cage.
    JBL eventually got up and grabbed the mic and said this is the last time Eddie will make a joke out of JBL, and just as he finished his sentence he fell flat on his face! Pritty funny stuff.

    All in All good show. The arena only had like 2000 people in it tops. I was surprised at what superstars actually showed. It's good to see the WWE will still stop off at little towns like Sudbury once and a while.
