Here's the results for the house show in Salisbury, MD - "Escape the Rules" tour.

The show began as Fink got us all hyped up. Some guy from a radio station in Delaware shot t-shirts into the crowd only to be interrupted by La Resistance. The got mad heat for that stunt...

Match 1: La Resistance def Rhyno and Tajiri to retain the titles.

Surprisingly, Rhyno and Tajiri were incredibly over with the crowd. La Resistance received great heat thanks to Rob Conways insults and gestures. The tag champs won when they hit their finisher on Tajiri. La Resistance then got on the mic and sang Canada's national anthem to huge boos.

Match 2: Hurricane w/Maven def Garrison Cade w/Test

Nobody gave a rats ass about Cade. The loudest reaction this match received was at the beginning when Test grabbed Cade's ass all to hell. The dude squeezed his ass and slapped it like they were butt buddies, I kid you NOT. The crowd chanted "Tweety bird" to Cade throughout. I doubt many knew who he was and assumed he was gay after the butt locks. Hurricane picked up the win with his finisher.

Eric Bischoff came out to a massive amount of jeers. He wanted Eugene to enter the ring to challenge anyone he'd like. Eugene wanted Bischoff! However, Coach interrupted and the two went at it. This eventually lead to a match....

    Match 3: Eugene def Coach

Eugene played around with Coach at first giving him JYD headbutts and pretending to piss on him. Eugene was insanely over with the majority of the crowd. Bischoff got involved when he tripped Eugene. Regal then came out and hit Bischoff with the brass knucks to a huge ovation! Eugene eventually hit the Rock Bottom/People's elbow on Coach for the win. Afterwards, Bischoff yelled at Eugene. Eugene went to hug his uncle Eric but hit him with a stunner instead. Great match with sweet work by everyone involved.

Lita came out to do her spiel about putting Matt through so much pain, blah blah blah. Lita got a great reaction from the crowd. My buddies and I decided to start a "Kane hit that" chant that went on for like 30 seconds with a lot of people involved. Matt came out to a small pop and before he could get any words out, Kane's music hits and he comes down. He spent some time talking with Lita, pointing to her stomach then himself indicating the kid was his. Matt gets pissed and this leads to...

Match 4: Kane def Matt Hardy

Unsurprisingly, Kane dominated the match crushing Matt with various blows to the midsection, sidewalk slams and clotheslines. Matt began a small assault when he reversed a Tombstone attempt from Kane. Matt hit Kane with Twist of Fate!. Of course, the Big Red Machine kicked out after 2 then proceeded to give Matt another beating. Kane decided to go out to the floor to get some play from Lita to no avail. Instead, Matt takes the action to the floor and gets slammed in steel steps. When the two got back in the ring, Matt goes for another ToF, only to get reversed into a chokeslam by Kane for the easy win. After the match, Lita goes to help Matt but he pushes her away then leaves alone.

Match 5: Chris Jericho def Batista

Both wrestlers got huge crowd reactions. Batista got more face pops then boos for some reason. Crowd really wasn't behind Jericho all that much since he got owned throughout the match. Batista had a good showing by dominating Jericho for the majority of the bout. Good ol Chris can make anyone look like gold. Jericho reversed Batista's sitdown pbomb for a roll up(held the tights also) for the "lucky" win.

Match 6: Randy Orton def. Edge to retain the IC title.

Edge got a great reaction from the crowd. Some girl flashed Orton so he went out and hugged her. Edge said, "Careful Randy, Kobe did the same thing and look what happened to him." Funny shit. Orton didn't get much of a reaction during the entrance, but got huge heat teasing the crowd with leaving the match. Edge chased him down and tossed him back into the ring. This match was mostly rest holds with a few neckbreakers throughout. The only real highlight was when Orton botched a head first turnbuckle toss. He hit his head on the turnbuckle like 5 seconds after he was tossed because he used his hands on the ropes to stay in the air longer. Crowd exclaimed "Aww" like aww damn he fucked up. Neither man hit any of their signature moves proving they weren't really into it. Orton would eventually take the turnbuckle pad off and attempted to ram Edge into it only to get reversed. Edge went for the 10 punches in the corner, but only got to 6 when Orton lifted him out of nowhere and smashed his head into the exposed turnbuckle. He rolled Edge up and used the ropes for leverage to get the victory.

Match 7: Trish w/ Tyson Tomko def Victoria

Trish got heat early on by claiming the only good thing about Salisbury is the fact she'll be out of there in 3 hours. Victoria then came down in some kinda wannabe Janet Jackson "Rhythem Nation" outfit only to please us by stripping it off. Victoria's ass is much bigger and finer in person. Lovely ..anyways, the women worked hard throughout the match with trish getting the win by using the ropes. AFterward, Tomko came in to deliver a gorilla press slam to victory only to get veto'd by a save from Steven Richards in drag.

Match 8: Chris Benoit def Triple H to retain the World Title.

Crowd was totally into this match chanting "You tapped out" several times during the match. I marked out for H and decided to cheer him since only a few were. Benoit got on the stick, gave props to Salisbury and told HHH he's gonna tap. The chants went on for like 5 mins so HHH got pissed and began walking to the back. Benoit hunted him down to officially begin the match. Benoit got the advantage early on by ramming HHH into the guard rail. Inside the ring, action went back and forth with Triple H dominating after a spinebuster. He slapped an abdominal stretch on Benoit but broke it after the ref saw him using the ropes. Benoit reversed an irish whip and applied an ab stretch of his own, but HHH through Benoit into the ropes and hooked on a sleeper. After Benoit got the hand up after it dropped, he fought back and slapped a sleeper on H. Eventually the two would get into a struggle which leads to Benoit missing H with a clothesline and hits the ref. Benoit hit the flying headbutt on HHH, but the ref was down. That led to Evolution coming out. Benoit made short work on Orton by tossing him over the top(Orton botched that too), however, Batista caught Benoit with a spinebuster. When the ref came to, HHH covered Benoit for a 2 count. HHH went for the pedigree, but Benoit reversed into the Crippler Crossface for a submission CLEAN finish to an awesome match.

Overall the event was awesome. I had a blast.
