  • The following are notes from Linda McMahon's conference call with investors for WWE's fourth fiscal quarter:

    - WWE has no plans to introduce more mixed-brand PPVs and is still hoping its new "double-PPV month" philosophy will catch on, although Linda admitted such a philosophy is only in "testing" right now.

    - Both WWE and Viacom are interested in renewing the deal to air RAW on Spike TV once it expires in 2005.

    - The Diva Search was heavily put over as a WWE take on American Idol; it will even get its own July 15 special. WWE hopes it will be a big opportunity to draw ratings.

    - WWE will have its own "election" in November to name a storyline president of SmackDown! and RAW.

    - In October, WWE will tape some RAW and SD! episodes in the UK.

    - Tough Enough segments will be added to SmackDown! later this year; the plan is to help develop new stars.

    - WWE will be working with different "major studios" for its upcoming WWE Films projects, including a horror and action film.
