News about former ECW Referee John Finegan

  My girlfriend is related to John Finegan via marriage (her cousin is his wife), and we found out Sunday morning that he was in the hospital. As we understand it, he was working an independant show Saturday night in the Metro-Philly area (he's from this area), and began to experience dizziness and mild chest pains. He finished the show, went home, and then at the urgings of his wife, went to the hospital. After several tests were performed, he has been diagnosed with a cardio-vascular problem called SVT (supraventicular tachycardia). Basically it's a fast heart rate. It is unknown at this time when he will be released from the hospital, and how this may affect any future shows as a referee.
