[Break: McGRUFF SAYS: TAKE A BITE OUT OF CRIME~!]
-MXPW.COM PROMO (2) ... Find out what I want to know about Maximum Pro

-KEVIN KELLY shills the MXPW TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP Match later tonight
with SCOOT ANDREWS v. LEX LOVETT
-Madison gets a brainbuster on Banks. Banks made this look horrible and
appeared to dead ass Madison once he was up.
-Banks even gets up before Madison and covers for two.
-Where's Jim Ross for my bowling shoe reference?
-Running boot to the face by Banks as Madison is on his knees gets two.
-Both back up, Madison with a knee lift, then a leg pick.
-Madison works this into a double leg then a Sharpshooter/Scorpion
Deathlock aka reverse grapevine leglock.

-Weird back round house kick by Banks as Madison is bent over gets the pin

-They've been touting Madison as the break out star of 2004, but this match
did nothing for either guy.
-They didn't click and/or someone decided not to cooperate.
MATCH #1: Antonio Banks d. Steve Madison by Pinfall (7:30) after a back
round house kick to the face of Madison as Madison was bent over.
[Break]
-Kelly has a sit-down interview with STEVE MADISON. Kelly says that there
is a lot of expectations behind the label of Breakout Star of 2004. Madison
says that you are always just a match or two away from being "replaced in
this business". Madison says he has to be on (performance?) every time he's
out there. Kelly says Madison is 21. They talk about all the places Madison
has worked. Kelly puts Madison over as very humble. Madison puts over that
he's been very lucky to work in some of the places he has. They talk about
the Japanese v. American style of wrestling. Kelly talks about how the
style in Japan is more about tradition and paying your dues (it is?). Kelly
points out some younger guys working out in the ring behind them and asks
how it feels knowing that they could be in "this chair soon." Madison says
he's been in their position before and it's hard. You have to train, eat
properly, and learn every day. Kelly puts over Madison's quads. They babble
about that for a while and going to the gym. I wonder what the sense of
airing this is as we just saw Madison lose. Kelly questions Madison being a
tough guy in the ring, saying Madison looks like "the boy next door."
Madison says he's focused and knows what he has to do. Kelly mentions
WrestleMania XX and says the Madison must be inspired by Chris Benoit's
rise. Kelly asks if we could see a "Benoit-like" rise for Steve Madison.
Madison has a really nice response to this, saying that he's no where near
the level of a Chris Benoit, but he hopes to be some day. He says that
maybe at WrestleMania XXV or XXX he'll have the opportunity to at least
perform. He says he's not talking one or two years, he's talking
five-ten-even twenty years down the road (at 41? Thank you DDP) he hopes to
capitalize on some opportunities. Kelly is nice enough to inform us that
the title of this segment is "INSIDE THE GUARDRAIL" --- after it's over, of
course.
-MXPW DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS PROMO. Who will be the Director Of Operations?
The part where they shill finding out at (last week's) TV taping has been
clipped.
MATCH #2: HACK "DOG" MYERS v. "PSYCHO" SEAN ALLEN
-I swear, Hack doesn't even look like the same guy. I'm sure in the face he
does, only he lost all the facial hair and weight. He literally "shave it
all" off.
-Hey barks and has the longest entrance this side of Sandman.
-Allen yells at Myers to "shut the hell up."
-Myers chases Allen out of the ring.
-Myers bites the ass of a chubby referee.
-Myers chases after Allen on the floor, chasing him back into the ring.
-Myers drops down and then gets an ugly hip toss.
-Clothesline over the top to the floor by Myers.
-Crowd claps and gets behind Myers.
-Allen teases getting in and Myers scares him.
-And again.
-And a third time, this time Myers lifts his legs on all fours.
-Allen finally gets on the apron and they brawl.
-Allen hits a Stunner onto the top ring rope.
-Allen chokes Myers with his boot as Myers lays over the bottom turnbuckle.
-Old School Heel choke over the middle ring rope.
-Myers fights back and Allen gets a double eye gouge.
-Snap mare into a reverse chinlock by Allen.
-Myers fights out and gets a sunset flip for two for the first near fall at
4:00.
-Myers ducks something by Allen and tries for a backslide and we cut to NEW
JACK taking notes in the back.
-This explains the comments by the announcers that "once you go hardcore,
you can never go back."
-New Jack keeps mentioning former ECW guys. Kronus? Nah. Axl? Nah.... too
much drugs. It's pretty apparent by the music playing LOUDLY in the
background that this was taped earlier. New Jack things for a long time and
finally writes that it's Hack Myers.
-Back from a LONG CUTAWAY (1:00) for a backslide by Myers gets two.
-Small package by Myers gets two.
-Myers misses a clothesline, then eats a spinebuster by Allen.
-Delayed cover by Allen gets two.
-Small boring chant (then again, with their crowd...)
-Myers then hits a bulldog after a corner whip on Allen for three in 5:35.
-Weird. We saw the same spot last match just before the finish.
MATCH #2: Hack "Dog" Myers d. "Psycho" Sean Allen by Pinfall (5:35) after a
running bulldog after Myers whipped Allen into the corner.

MATCH #3: BRIAN GAMBLE & CHAZ WARRINGTON v. THE MARKET CRASHERS (DOW JONES
& NASDAQ)
-They try to forget that Chaz has a last name, of course.
-Kelly calls Gamble a "raw rookie."
-Gamble's tights look to be stolen from DEREK WYLDE's wardrobe.
-Kelly mention's Gamble's AMERICAN GLADIATORS and ROLLERJAM background as
well as his martial arts background.
-Gamble was one of the "up and comers" in the ring during the interview
segment.
-Chaz and DOW JONES start off.
-Chaz works an arm wringer early.
-Chaz is still wearing his old Headbanger garb.
-Arm wringer it worked into a side headlock.
-Chaz breaks free and takes a shoulder block by Jones.
-Hop toss, then a dropkick by Chaz.
-Arm wringer then a tag to Gamble, allowing him to work some kicks into
chest of Jones.
-Jones takes a few kicks from Gamble, then rakes the eyes of Gamble,
allowing him to tag in NASDAQ.
-Gamble floats over a pick-up by NASDAQ and dropkicks him to the back.
-NASDAQ begs off and Jones attacks from behind.
-Chaz comes in allowing the illegal switch.
-Slam by Jones. Nice shot of the endless rows of empty seats.
-Jones keeps Gamble from tagging by holding his leg.
-Mystery Business Woman shows up on the ramp way to take notes on the match.
-Gamble ducks a clothesline, then a back elbow before hitting a spinning
heel kick on Jones.
-Tag to NASDAQ, who just barely keeps Gamble from making the tag.
-Chaz back in to draw the referee and the Market Crashers work over Gamble
in the corner.
-The announcers mention the last time the MYSTERY WOMAN was seen was during
the Vandals v. The Market Crashers (on 5/14)
-Gamble gets the old tag behind the back of the referee as NASDAQ holds him
in a front chancery.
-Up close show on the mystery woman. Wow, she's at least a 8.9 Missy Hyatt
on the "scares me to death" scale.
-They work over Gamble some more.
-Front chancery is held some more.
-Gamble takes forever to fight to his feet and they do the same tag gimmick
again, only with a build.
-Why is Gamble, who has no clue, playing the face in peril?
-NASDAQ boots the holy crap out of Gamble some more.
-Tag to Jones and they double team him with shots.
-Jones misses a three point stance charge into the corner allowing Gamble
to tag in Chaz.
-Clothesline for everyone.
-Jones takes a Tornado DDT from a back body drop attempt by Chaz for two.
-NASDAQ in, works over Chaz.
-Gamble is positioned on the other side of the ring, allowing Chaz to
reverse a cross corner whip into a super kick by Gamble.
-Chaz follows it up with an inverted fall away forward jawbreaker (Downward
Spiral/Flatliner) for the pin on NASDAQ in 6:44.
-The woman leaves. Yippee.
MATCH #3: Brian Gamble & Chaz Warrington d. The Market Crashers by Pinfall
(6:44) when Warrington pinned NASDAQ after an inverted fall away forward
jawbreaker.
[Break]
-THE MARKET CHRASHERS are shown depressed, leaving in the back. The woman
walks up to them, touches NASDAQ on the chest, then Jones and they follow
her out of the building with their bags behind them. I guess this was the
reason for them losing their first 3 matches at these tapings. I imagine
they go (went) over in the TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP tournament, which is the
old school way of booking a guy soon to get a title. There's no sound at
all for this.
MATCH #4: "THE BLACK NATURE BOY" SCOOT ANDREWS v. LEX LOVETT for the Vacant
MXPW Television Championship

MATCH #4: "THE BLACK NATURE BOY" SCOOT ANDREWS v. LEX LOVETT for the Vacant
MXPW Television Championship
-Basically, this is the most bizarre Tournament *EVER*. Andrews beat BRUNO
SASSI in a first round tournament match, then they randomly had a Battle
Royal with 10 guys in it with the winners getting into this match.
-There's not 12:00 left in the show for this one.
-Back from break and Lovett attacks.
-Kelly says "there's the bell" about 10 seconds before it rings.
-Cross corner whip, then a clothesline by Lovett.
-Lovett follows with an arm drag into an arm bar, then works the hold into
a cross arm breaker.
-Andrews rolls Lovett to his stomach, but Lovett keeps working the arm with
an arm wringer.
-Crowd chants BOR-RING. Jesus, this is harsh. These guys just started (and
they're definitely working nice and crisp)
-Lovett works Andrews to the canvas and Andrews gets back up.
-Eye gouge, whip, the a leaping leg lariat by Andrews.
-Whip, then a clothesline that was pretty wicked.
-Headbutt by Andrews, then some chops.
-Lovett fights back with chops.
-Cross corner whip by Lovett, then an arm drag out of the corner into the
arm wrench again.
-They work the hold and Andrews gets to his feet.
-Lovett gets in some knees, then LEAPS over the top to the floor while
still holding Andrews' arm.
-Lovett works an arm bar into a double under hook. Kelly puts this over as
a submission hold, which is lost since they had the move used as a segway
into a powerbomb earlier.
-Andrews works out and backs Lovett into the corner.
-Andrews misses a right and Lovett boots Andrews, then works the arm with
an arm wringer (come on! Guess what side! If you guessed LEFT, you'd be
correct).
-Eye poke by Andrews again.
-Whip and Andrews misses a clothesline, but hits a toss into a sit-out
powerbomb.
-Andrews quickly sells the arm and shoulder after the move to delay the
cover for two.
-Andrews does a slow corner whip with the left, then sells the arm before
charging and missing a charge, causing him to be seated on the middle
turnbuckle, facing the crowd.
-Lovett hits a neck breaker while Andrews is tied up.
-Both men slow to their feet.
-Cross corner whip by Lovett, then another, but Andrews reverses it (with
his left).
-Lovett tries to push off out of the corner and Andrews catches Lovett's
legs and we get a double leg slam/Alabama Slam by Andrews.
-Andrews sells the arm and shoulder some in the corner.
-Andrews tosses Lovett to the floor through the top and middle ropes.
-Andrews follows him out and USES HIS RIGHT to whip Lovett into the guard
rail, after he can't use his left.
-Andrews tries it again, but they both use their left this time, with
Andrews getting reversed into the guard rail the second time.
-Lovett jams Andrews a few times with a chair in the arm and shoulder.
-The announcers put over how they always want to see a pin/submission in a
title match and how MXPW Officials are generally lenient with the rules in
title matches.
-Andrews reverses Lovett and Lovett eats the ring post.
-Andrews nails Lovett over the back with the chair, then sells his arm some.
-A weak chair shot and Andrews sells the arm. A third and again the sell.
-Andrews nails Lovett over the head, then the back again before rolling
back into the ring to sell.
-Lovett slow in, and gets two headbutts to the middle section from the apron.
-Andrews stops him and hits a guillotine leg drop from the middle
turnbuckle as Lovett was hung over the middle ring rope.
-Sell of the arm causes a slow cover for two.
-Right arm corner whip, then Andrews eats a boot on the charge. Andrews
charges again and eats another boot.
-Lovett hits a somersault reverse neck breaker from the middle turnbuckle.
-I saw him win an NWA WORLD JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE match
with that move, which was his finish at the time.
-Delayed cover gets two for Lovett as Andrews gets his foot on the bottom
ring rope.
-Whip by Lovett, reversed by Andrews, reverse by Lovett into a quick snap
powerslam for two.
-Andrews did it with the left and even kicked, despite the arm.
-Boot to the mid-section, attempted sunset flip by Lovett and Andrews
breaks the grip.
-Andrews pulls Lovett up into an reverse front face lock, then hits a Roll
Of The Dice.
-Delayed cover gets two.
-Andrews works a pump handle on Lovett, but when he tries the pick-up,
Lovett rolls over to his feet.
-Lovett shoves Andrews off to the ropes and hits a Death Valley Driver.
-Lovett holds onto Andrews on the way down, tossing him in front of him and
never leaving his feet.
-Lovett then steps over with an arm breaker from his feet.
-Andrews fights out of this and tries to work the pump handle again and
Lovett rolls out of the way.
-Lovett blocks a right, then slams Andrews.
-Lovett goes right back to the arm breaker.
-Andrews fights back to his feet, working the pump handle in...
-Andrews works in a pump handle into a sit-out piledriver for the pin in
10:34 to win the MXPW Television Championship.
MATCH #4: "The Black Nature Boy" Scoot Andrews d. Lex Lovett by Pinfall
(10:34) after a pump handle sit-out piledriver in a Match For The Vacant
MXPW Television Championship. New Champion.
