More on Nowinski’s medical condition, RVD/SmackDown, UPN special rating Submitted by Richard Gray on Friday, May 28, 2004 at 10:49 AM EST
Christopher Nowinski confirmed on yesterday’s edition of Byte This how bad his medical condition still is. Nowinski said that the post concussion syndrome has not only affected his memory but has caused numerous other problems including a dangerous sleep walking habit. He said that he is looking forward to getting back into the ring is that is even possible. Remember that he is writing a book about concussions to try and help other athletes and people who suffer from them.
Rob Van Dam, who was also on Byte This yesterday said that he liked traveling with the SmackDown brand better. He addressed a question about SmackDown being the B show by saying that Raw is live whereas SmackDown is taped and that Raw has a lot of veterans while SmackDown is still trying to establish itself.
The Eddie Guerrero special that aired on UPN Wednesday night, "Cheating Death, Stealing Life: The Eddie Guerrero Story", ended up doing a 1.1 broadcast rating, with 2 a share, which finished last. This number was considered very disappointing as the special received good reviews from several of the critics that watched it.
