Latest on Steve Austin’s return to WWE, Possibly signing with Ted Turner, more

  • According to sources within the industry, Steve Austin and Vince McMahon have talked recently. However, news of a possible return is unknown at this point. It should be taken into consideration that if Ted Turner does start a wrestling company, Goldberg and Austin will be top priorities on his “list to sign” since the two are very good friends. As we have reported earlier, some sources are already saying that Turner has sent feelers out to both Goldberg and Austin to see what it is going to take to get them to sign with his potential new company.

  • LOP reader Darryl Smoth sent word that WWE has cancelled the SmackDown! brand house show scheduled to be in Monroe, LA on June 20th due to a scheduling conflict. Apparently a show scheduled in Baton Rouge the night before was also postponed.
