Founder of NWA: TNA and the father of Jeff Jarrett, Jerry Jarrett underwent triple bypass heart surgery this weekend in Nashville, TN. As I reported earlier last week, Jarrett was rushed to the hospital before last week’s TNA PPV after experiencing dizziness and chest pains.
Jarrett founded NWA: TNA in 2002 after failing to secure a bid in the purchase of World Championship Wrestling. He also held ownership in WCW and worked for WWE in the mid-1990s.
