WWE signs new talent, TNA Impact news, Styles/ROH, Tomko replaces Christian Submitted by Richard Gray on Monday, May 24, 2004 at 10:36 AM EST
Fox Sports Net Chicago will air NWA: TNA Impact! Wrestling on Fridays at 1 pm Central time. This means that viewers in the Midwest will actually see the show an hour earlier than the Eastern Time zone with daylight savings time. However, it should be noted that the show will be delayed a lot in the later summer months due to White Sox and Cubs baseball.
WWE has signed Chaotic Wrestling star Chad Wicks (p/k/a “Lifesaver” Billy Kryptonite) to a developmental contract. Wicks will start in Ohio Valley Wrestling the middle of next month.
Ring of Honor has stripped A.J. Styles of the Pure Wrestling title because they cannot come to terms with NWA: TNA concerning any future dates for the former NWA: TNA World Champion.
I reported yesterday that Christian was out again this weekend due to back problems. Christian was replaced again this weekend at house shows by Tyson Tomko, who of course, was accompanied to the ring by Trish Stratus. Tomko worked last night against Chris Jericho in a steel cage match at the Raw brand house show in Moline, IL.
