Security strict on fan signs at SmackDown, Malenko/booking, Byte This guests Submitted by Richard Gray on Wednesday, May 19, 2004 at 2:25 PM EST
According to several fan reports who attended last night’s SmackDown taping, security was very strict on the signs that they fans have. Apparently they were taking signs left and right and were extremely strict on what kind of messages they let be portrayed. There was also a problem with people wearing shirts with the old “WWF” logo on them. If someone was spotted wearing a shirt displaying the old logo, security forced them to turn it inside out, this is something that WWE can simply not help due to the court case that they lost.
The Cruiserweight match that will air this week on SmackDown was said to be very well booked by WWE road agent Dean Malenko. Due to spoiler reasons, I will not reveal any other information, but if you are interested in finding out more, check out the taping results.
While on the subject of Malenko, he will accompany Arn Anderson to be guests on WWE.com’s Byte This audio show tomorrow evening at 4 pm Eastern.
