CWF Mid-Atlantic live action this Saturday in Burlington, NC

CWF MID-ATLANTIC TV TAPING THIS SATURDAY IN BURLINGTON, NC
CWF Mid-Atlantic returns to the Carolina Sports Arena in Burlington,
NC this Saturday, May 1st, with a 7:30pm belltime. This is a full
card of great action!
Just two weeks ago some historic events occurred at the Sports
Arena. The legendary voice of the Mid-Atlantic, Bob Caudle, returned
to welcome the fans back to the tradition of wrestling in the
Carolinas. Plus in the main event, the history books were rewritten
to include the first ever female to capture the Mid-Atlantic
Television Title.
Becoming the first female champion was just the first step. Now
GeeStar faces an even more difficult challenge, that of
successfully defending her newly won crown. The TV Champion is
required to defend the title at each TV Taping. This added exposure
of being on TV so frequently has brought in wrestlers from all over
the world to challenge for this championship. This Saturday she must
now face anyone who's name is drawn as the next challenger.
Another champion will also be in action as the Mid-Atlantic Hwt.
Champion, Ric Converse is slated to defend his title against his
handpicked opponent. Converse has turned down several offers to face
number one contender, Bounty Hunter, for another title rematch, and
has insisted that he only face a "winner." Converse will put the
title on the line against the wrestler on a hot streak, Trent Wylde.
This is the biggest match of Wylde's career and it couldn't happen at
a better time. Wylde has shocked the Sports Arena fans with an
unbelievable winning streak scoring huge pinfall victories over the
like of Mikael Yamaha, Scotty Mathews, and many more. This Saturday
Wylde has the opportunity of a lifetime to roll his lucky streak into
a platinum championship title belt.
Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions, American Steele Ninja & Brass Munkey
are also scheduled to be in action. Every tag team in the Mid-
Atlantic region is after their championships including their friends,
The $outh$ide Playas (J-Money & L.A. Cash). The former 2-time tag
champions want to become the only 3-peat title holders and this
Saturday could be their chance. Can friendships survive a challenge
for the most coveted title belts in the Carolinas?
Plus you'll also see former heavyweight champion "Dangerous E" Corey
Edsel, the massive Bounty Hunter, Canadian Sensation Quinson
Valentino, the unpredictable Otto Schwanz, Twisted Aggression (Sean
Powers & Mitch Norris), The Wild Eyed Southern Boys (Garry Stevens &
