  • Here are some news & notes coming from this weekend's Raw-Brand house shows:

-Matt Hardy will continue his face turn as he goes up against A-Train. One does have to wonder why the WWE has held off A-Train & Chuck Palumbo's debuts on Raw, but I guess they just don't have anything for them at the present time.

-Shelton Benjamin will challenge Randy Orton for the Intercontinental Championship. Could this be a hint at things to come, since Shelton has already beaten two members of Evolution. It does raise one question though. How come Shelton is getting the shot at Orton, when Edge was the one who came out and said he had a problem with "The Legend Killer" on Raw this past Monday?

-Chris Benoit will be defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Triple H at both the 4/24 and 4/25 house shows. I guess Shawn Michaels has the weekend off, since he's not scheduled on either show. One has to wonder why though, since it seems logical for the WWE to have Michaels & Benoit face each other so they can practice for their title match in two weeks on Raw.
