  • Christopher Spence, a writer for the Edmonton Journal, was able to speak with the media relations representative for WWE Canada backstage at last night’s PPV and he learned that the company is legitimately concerned about tonight’s Raw in Calgary.

The feeling within WWE is that there will be very little to no walk-up for tonight’s event due to Game Seven of the NHL Stanley Cup playoff series between the Calgary Flames and Vancouver Canucks. There is even concern that due to the importance of the game, people who have purchased tickets for Raw tonight will not even bother to show up.

WWE lucked out in Edmonton, as the Oilers missed the playoffs the final day of the season. However, time will tell on how big of a crowd WWE is able to draw against some very stiff competition.
