SmackDown Notes: Booker T heel turn, Rene’s push, Big Show & Eddie injured

  • The idea to transform Booker T into a heel is to make him protest about being drafted to SmackDown. Many within the company feel that this won’t make the brand look like a B show, even though there is a considerable amount of concern from WWE talent who think that it is the wrong move and that SmackDown is already being considered an inferior brand.

  • Rene Dupree is set to undergo a strong singles heel push now that he is on SmackDown. The former World Tag Champ worked with John Cena in Tampa yesterday and there has been talk in the SmackDown locker room about starting a program between the two, resulting in a PPV match at the May SmackDown PPV.

  • Big Show continues to work despite being extremely sore. Show’s back, elbow, and knee are all bothering him.

  • Eddie Guerrero is currently working with a sore neck.

  • Confirmed Matches For RAW Tonight & Major *SPOILER*
