Several people in the WWE executive office have been very pleased with the house show turnouts as of late. They were especially impressed with the 9,000 paid that the company did yesterday in St. Louis that drew well over $200,000 at the box office. The talent was also said to be very pleased and felt that it is much easier to work a show that is well attended. It is worth mentioning that the show also went up against a NCAA Regional Final in town.
Friday’s show in Cape Girardeau, MO also did big numbers with 3,400 paid with an approximate $120,000 at the box office.
WWE officials continue to be very high up on Nick Dinsmore’s new character Eugene. He was said to have gotten a great reaction from the live crowd this past weekend. As we reported here yesterday at LoP, Dinsmore is preparing for a television debut with the company.
