Various wrestlers are upset that WWE is not using the original titles, as they feel that it takes away the historical significance of the belts. One title they definitely want to see back is the 80s version of the IC Title, as it has so much history and the belt alone would make it more meaningful. A comparison used in the lockerroom is that the Stanley Cup would not mean the same thing if the NHL updated it every year.
One of the biggest names that the SmackDown! lockerroom was upset to receive was Bubba Ray Dudley. He has a reputation of being selfish in the ring, either calling all the shots or just making sure all his spots get in. D-Von, on the other hand, has a very good reputation.
